Dancin’ and Chillin’ with Disney Villains
Sunset Showcase loudly presents Club Villain, a frightfully fun dance-and-dine event—debuting January 16, 2016!
This spellbinding evening features decadent New Orleans delicacies like tender beef striploin rubbed with herbes de Provence, Voodoo sticky “pig wings” with citrus gremolata and spicy shrimp sautéed with Andouille sausage, tomato, okra and onions over creamy polenta.
Trick or treat yourself to fiendish cocktail concoctions—specialty alcoholic drinks plus beer and wine—hilarious stage-show numbers and up-close encounters with Disney’s most dastardly doomsday divas. Mix and mingle with mysterious Maleficent, hilarious Queen of Hearts, the delirious Evil Queen and the always fur-fetched Cruella De Vil—and wicked jams from our house DJ!
Tickets to Club Villain can be purchased for $99 per person, tax and gratuity included. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 90 days in advance, either by booking online here or by calling (407) 939-3463.

Meer seconds after Halloween ended, Christmas was in full swing at Walt Disney World.

This will be the 20th and final year for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios and there have been a few additions to the play list.
There is an all-new dancing sequence this year, with a custom arrangement of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Check it out in the video below. All of the favorites from previous years are back.

Inside the display you'll see highlights of the lights from the last 20 years, showing their story and progression from the Osborne family house to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the lights, Tink joins the show in the form of a new animated light high above the streets. There will also be merchandise available celebrating the lights final year.

Santa Goofy is now appearing for meet and greets on the Streets of America.
The meet and greet is making use of the former Backlot Tour queue area, which was most recently used as the Mickey Mouse meet and greet location.
You can meet Goofy dressed in his Santa outfit daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, then 6:30 PM to park close.

'A Frozen Holiday Wish' returned at the Magic Kingdom on November 4 2015.
The hugely popular 10 minute show at Cinderella Castle features Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff, along with 200,000 LEDs that make up the castle dream lights.
Check the times guide for specifics, but show times on regular park days will typically be 6:15 PM and a second later show. On Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights, show times are 6:15 PM and 8:00 PM.

The Jingle Cruise, the holiday overlay edition of the Jungle Cruise is also currently up and running.

And to round out the holiday news, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will once again offer event-only exclusive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom playing card.
This year's card is "Olaf's Snowgies," and can be picked up on Magic Kingdom party nights at either the firehouse in Town Square or the second location in Liberty Square.

Disney has also revealed some more information about the Na'vi River Journey attraction coming to Pandora - The World of AVATAR.
From Disney's announcement:

Pandora – The World of AVATAR will bring a variety of new experiences to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, including a family-friendly attraction called Na’vi River Journey. The adventure begins as guests set out in canoes and venture down a mysterious, sacred river hidden within the bioluminescent rainforest. The full beauty of Pandora reveals itself as the canoes pass by exotic glowing plants and amazing creatures. The journey culminates in an encounter with a Na’vi shaman, who has a deep connection to the life force of Pandora and sends positive energy out into the forest through her music. Na’vi River Journey will open with Pandora – The World of AVATAR in 2017.

Chronos Club Review at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

I recently stayed at the Chronos Club at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I've been a fan of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort since my first visit as it reminds me of my hometown, San Antonio. I've stayed in rooms ranging from preferred, Casita Suite, Tower King, and now Club Level access. The Chronos Club is located on the 15th floor of the Gran Destino Tower and can only be accessed with a key card or MagicBand to a corresponding Club Level reservation. I've previously stayed Club Level at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and Disney's Grand Californian Resort. These are all considered Deluxe Resorts. Something that makes the Chronos Club stand out is that it is located in what Disney considers a Moderate Resort. I was really excited to check out the difference in experience, since there can be a notable difference in price tag for Moderate vs. Deluxe Res

Universal's Volcano Bay Private Cabana Review

On a recent training in Universal Orlando Resort, agents Maci, Ashley, Aubrey and Yaritza and I rented a private cabana for the day at Universal's Volcano Bay. There are multiple locations around the park along with the option to have an upper or lower level, all of which reflect in various pricing. Agent Ashley received an email the day before informing her of where to check-in the next morning. While we were personally escorted to the cabana shortly after check in, the line at the check in location is the same as those getting towels, meaning it was not short. As expressed by an additional guest checking into a different cabana, we would have greatly appreciated a separate line, since this caused our group about a half hour wait. We're all adults and made great use of our time getting some fun pictures before the park was filled with guests, but this is important to be aware of if you are traveling with children.  We had an upper level Cabana which came with a splendid view!

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes

Black Tap Burgers & Shakes is located at the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort.  It is a fast-casual restaurant, meaning you order your items at the counter, but then they bring it to the table for you.  They have a selection of burgers, wings, salads and chicken and a fun milkshake menu.  If you just want a shake, there's also a walkup window outside, but some special creations can only be ordered for dine-in. We placed our order at the counter and noticed all the tables inside were full. We found a table outside and hung out while we waited for our food to come. They have a full bar and craft beers on tap, but I was surprised to get wine in a can. Strawberry Shortcake Shake We had hoped to have this Crazy Shake for dessert, but it actually came before any of our food. The Strawberry Shortcake is described as a vanilla frosted rim with crumbled cake topped with a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar, pink & white twisty pop, whipped cream, strawberry drizzle
