While taking a cruise on the Disney Fantasy, I decided to book the Ultimate St. Thomas through the DCL app. The tour was comprised of three separate parts. The first was an island tour where our driver, Perry, told us about the various buildings we drove next to, a history of the island, and some fun facts. We were fascinated to learn that graffiti has a mandatory minimum of $25,000 fine and 6 months hard labor jail time. That being said, the jail cells generally come with a beautiful view and there are less than 100 cells that are rarely at over 50% capacity. We stopped really quickly for everyone to grab a quick picture and get back on board. Our first real stop was a beautiful mountain view with a very touristy shop. We could try the banana daiquiri, a staple of the island, but it felt a bit too early for us that day. We did find a few souvenirs that we really liked and weren't too big to lug around all day. Both Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines are known for their exciting, family-friendly vacations, popularity, and affordability. I am a loyal Carnival passenger, but when Royal Caribbean's Perfect Day at CocoCay opened, I just had to check it out.  Carnival and Royal docked in Nassau Royal Caribbean is an amazing cruise line, with some of the best on-board sports activities and technology, but these are the differences that I only realized after cruising on both cruise lines last year. On our recent Disney Cruise, we were excited to visit Tortola for the first time. We were looking for an excursion that would give us a tour of the island, we chose the Island Drive and Beach Break. After disembarking the ship, we boarded our open-air safari bus for a scenic drive around Tortola through Road Town before we ascended Ridge Road up to Sky World. Make sure to sit on the left side of the bus for the best views of your Disney ship when you're driving up Ridge Road. Unfortunately for me, I ended up on the right side of the vehicle so I struggled to grab a good picture of the ship from the top of the island. I was still able to enjoy the stunning views but I just couldn't get a perfectly composed photo. While we drove around the island, our driver gave us some history on everything that we were seeing. I found it difficult to hear him at times so I missed a lot of what he was saying but it was nice to hear some fun facts about the island when I could hear him. ...
