If you are using Disney Genie+ during your visit to Magic Kingdom and the lines are long, utilize it for characters and Princesses. Topolino's Terrace Breakfast Review

Breakfast at Topolino's has been getting quite the hype since it opened, so I was thrilled when I snagged a reservation with my fellow Agent Maci on our trip to celebrate Magic Kingdom's 50th birthday. This restaurant is located on the 10th floor of Disney's Riviera Resort, the newest to open on Walt Disney World property. The décor is modern and bright, with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony to continue to take in the views right outside. Breakfast is a character dining experience, with Mickey and friends being dressed in their artsy best! Park attire is welcome, but you could just as easily get a little fancy and feel comfortable. We were told it would be about 10 minutes so we went to the bar where I ordered a Bellini and Maci got a Mimosa, light on the OJ! The excellent bartender barely had time to make our drinks before our table was ready. We were quickly greeted by our server Chris from Orlando and we're pretty sure we found the OG! For...

Throwback Thursday: Chef Mickey's Family Style

Let's take a look back at 2021 when Chef Mickey's reopened as family-style dining before returning to the full buffet experience... Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort has been a long-time popular favorite for its proximity to the Magic Kingdom and the ability to see Mickey and Friends while dining.  However, it hadn't been one of my personal favorites because I felt the quality of food on the buffet had been lacking in recent years.  Since it reopened as a family-style meal and we were able to get a last minute reservation on our recent trip, we decided it was time to give it another chance.  Long story short, I'm so glad we gave this restaurant another try and I hope it stays family-style for a while because everything was really fantastic! Okay now let's get into the details.  We were able to secure a same-day reservation for two on a Thursday night earlier that day.  We had no park plans or anything so some cha...

Cinderella's Royal Table

When it is a little prince or princess’s first time dining at Cinderella’s Castle, you know it is going to be a special day!    Upon entering Cinderella Castle, you are in awe of its grandness. Every time I come here, I am still taken with the breathtaking details and beauty of this castle. And of course, I am most thrilled to see my two favorite characters, Jaq and Gus-Gus, hanging out in the castle, keeping a watchful eye over Cinderella.  Do you see Jaq and Gus-Gus? Those who dine here will begin their experience with a photo and an opportunity to meet with Cinderella*. Once formally introduced to our host, you will be escorted up the grand staircase to your dining area. (Character dining is currently not available at this restaurant due to COVID-19 guidelines.) After receiving wishing stars, wands, and swords, dinner will begin. Cinderella, of course, did not invite you here to dine alone. On this particular evening, we had the honor of meeting Rapunzel, Aurora, ...
