New versions of the My Disney Experience mobile apps now provide functionality for purchasing theme park tickets. Tickets ranging from 1 to 10 days can be purchased, including the option to add park hopping. Each purchase can be assigned to Family and Friends defined in My Disney Experience, and the tickets are automatically linked. FastPass+ privileges are also automatically assigned at the time of purchase, making the app purchasing of tickets as streamlined as possible. The iOS edition also receives other improvements in v2.5, including improved wait time accuracy and time stamps to indicate when various information was last updated. The new apps are available for both iOS and Android, and are available for download now via the normal update system on each mobile platform. Speaking to Variety co-editor-in-chief Claudia Eller at a Dealmakers Breakfast earlier this week, Bog Iger gave us some insight as to what to expect in one of the new attractions Avatar expansion.
