Image courtesy Disney Parks Blog The Magic Kingdom's nightly Wishes Dessert Party has undergone some modifications, bringing some more upscale food and drink offerings and a higher price point. Previously priced at $29, the new Wishes Dessert Party jumps to $49 for adults, and $29 for ages 3-9. Along with the price increase comes an update to the food and drink offerings, along with a more upscale experience with table cloths and place settings. Sparkling cider, hot drinking chocolate and signature lemonades join the beverage line-up in addition to the soft drinks. Desserts include chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate mousse, ice cream, seasonal fruit and cheese, and Disney character-themed cupcakes. Reservations can be made beginning today by visiting, or calling 407-WDW-DINE.  The event begins on July 5 2015. Until then, the existing Tomorrowland Terrace dessert party continues to be available. Grand Floridian Cafe Review

Located inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Grand Floridian Cafe is definitely one of those restaurants at Disney that seem to fall off of the radar, but  should definitely be considered a hidden gem. With the vast selections of restaurants serving breakfast on Disney property, this is one of our favorites! Tastefully decorated with a Victorian flair, Grand Floridian Cafe is bright, cheerful and friendly, while offering views of the Grand Floridian's courtyard, and very serene. Being just a staircase (or elevator ride) away from the monorail, access to Grand Floridian Cafe, could not be more convenient. Offering full menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) are usually easy to come by. Walk ups are possible, but not guaranteed. I know, I know.... get on to the food!! During our last visit in the Fall, we headed to Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. This is a *must dine at* location every year for us. We start

Nine Dragons Review

Located in Epcot's Chinese Pavilion, Nine Dragons is definitely one of those Disney World restaurants that seems to fall off of the radar. Now, I'll admit, I must have passed Nine Dragon's a hundred times, and never thought to dine here. I am betting most of you are thinking the way I did; "I can get Chinese food at home", or have made ADRs (Advanced Dining Reservations for you first time visitors) only to cancel and dine elsewhere. A lot of past reviews are mixed regarding this restaurant, which I think contributed to me not dining here in the past, but I had to give Nine Dragons a fair chance. I can tell you, I'm glad we did! And....... did you know NO MSG is used in any dishes at Nine Dragon's? Neither did I! Being a fan, that was great news to me! Nine Dragons underwent a recent facelift or refurb in Disney-speak in 2009. It really is a pretty restaurant. The reception area does tend to get a bit crowded, but we were seated within fifteen minu

The Walt Disney World Monorail Express beam will be operating on a reduced schedule through to the summer of 2015. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM, the Express beam will be closed for maintenance. During that time, the Resort and Epcot beams will continue to operate as normal. Watercraft and busses will also be operating throughout the closures. The revised schedule begins on March 10 2015. The quiet pool at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort will be closing for a major refurbishment in April. The exact dates are not available, but it is expected that the pool will close in mid April 2015 through to early January 2016. The resort's main feature pool will open prior to the closure of the quiet pool, and will bring a new pool deck, hot tub, and kids play area when it opens in April 2015. Winged Encounter has relocated to the center of the park. The perch that was previously just across from Flame Tree Barbecue is now relocated to the area in front of
