5 Ways To Get Psyched For Your Disney Trip!

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Disney Guys and Gals!

Is anyone familiar with Barney Stinson's "Get Psyched" Mix? Anyone? How I Met your Mother Fans? Ok, great! So you totally get where I'm going with this! If you have no idea what I am talking about, you can watch a clip HERE! Basically, the theory is that no matter what's going on in your life, you can get yourself psyched up and ready for something awesome to happen, all by listening to the right piece of music. Playing off of that theory, I feel that one of the very best things about a Disney trip is actually preparing for it, or getting psyched! You can have a whole bunch of crappy stuff happening in your life at the time, but if you have a Disney trip on the horizon... even if it's 564 days away, you have something to look forward to and enjoy preparing yourself for. In fact, many Disney fans, (myself included), pretty much get from one day to the next by preparing for upcoming trips. You may even book a new trip a…

Top 5 Disney Cruise Activities for Adults

If you've ever brought up a Disney Cruise to those who aren't in the know, I bet you've heard the all too familiar phrase "Aren't there kids everywhere?!" So today I wanted to share with you my top five reasons why I love Disney Cruising WITHOUT kids!  I've personally taken three Disney Cruises and have my fourth one coming up, but none of these trips include kiddos.  People look at me like I'm a bit nuts when I tell them this, since they equate the cruise line with fun loving children everywhere.  (Don't get me wrong, DCL is absolutely fantastic for kids too!) But they truly have something for everyone.  All the photos in this post are from my recent cruise on the Disney Magic (Mediterranean itinerary) but you should be able to find something similar on any of the ships in Disney's fleet!

Thanksgiving 2016 at Walt Disney World

Hey there, Disney Guys and Gals!

Tink here, bringing you some tasty ideas for this year's Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World! We're talking "turkey" about hanging with the Mouse for the holiday! If you've never been to Disney for Thanksgiving before, it's a great time to be here, for multiple reasons.

Firstly, if you manage to get here early in the week, you may be able to catch the end of "off-season" and enjoy lighter crowds, and shorter lines. If you're not getting here until Wednesday or later, you can expect that the parks will be pretty full, BUT they will also be open later and will have lots of exciting events taking place.

You'll also be delighted to find that the holiday decorations in the parks and at the resorts are generally up prior to Thanksgiving, meaning that while you're enjoying Turkey Day, you can roll right into the Christmas spirit by taking in Holidays Around the World at Epcot and all of the fabulous…

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a Deluxe Resort, conveniently located just a monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom. It is also a short walk from the Ticket & Transportation Center, making it easy to catch the Epcot monorail. The Polynesian Village Resort is one of the original Walt Disney World Resorts, and it opened in 1971 along with the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It was built in the same modular construction style as the Contemporary.

The Poly, as it is affectionately called by some, consists of several buildings or "longhouses" named Tuvalu, Fiji, Aotearoa, Tonga, Hawaii, Samoa, Niue, Rarotonga, Tokelau, Moorea and Pago Pago. There are standard rooms, concierge rooms and Disney Vacation Club studios, villas and bungalows available. The Polynesian’s newest additions are the Bora Bora Bungalows, located along the Seven Seas Lagoon. Standard rooms sleep 5 with 2 queen beds and a day bed.…
