I recently went on my first Bahamian Disney Cruise with my husband and 3 young children after a week at Walt Disney World, a.k.a. a Land & Sea Vacation. It was an incredibly magical experience sailing on the Disney Dream, and I have already booked my next cruise! I knew it would be awesome, but didn't expect to be so completely impressed with every aspect of the cruise. From the magnificent dinner cuisine, to the Broadway-style shows, to the amazing customer service, Disney is truly unbeatable when it comes to family cruising.
There are many, many cruise planning sites, blogs, and tips out there to sift through, (which I did my due diligence reading in preparation for my own trip) including the wonderful articles here on the Kingdom Konsultant Blog!
Arrival Day Advice First thing you should do onboard is go to guest services, put your Disney gift cards and credit card on file for charges and make sure you know your pin #! Make sure and do this if you didn't already add your…
Hi there, Disney Fans!
Tink here, reporting from a freshly-holiday-decoration-coated Walt Disney World! The weather is FINALLY cooling down a bit in O-Town and it's starting to feel more like the holiday season is approaching. In fact, over at The Magic Kingdom, the very first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party kicked off this past Monday! I'm hoping to get the chance to go to a party again this year. My bestie and I hit up one last year and we had SO much fun! Now, Disney does several of these special parties and events, but is this Christmas-themed one worth it?
Let's start with the basics... For those of you that may not know, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special, hard ticketed event, occurring a few times per week, on designated dates. (2016 Dates Include: Nov. 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 27th and 29th. Dec. 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 18th and 22nd.) The party admission is NOT included on a regu…
When looking for a quick service dining option in Disney Springs you have many choices available. One delicious option is The Express at Wolfgang Puck Grand Café. Both Lunch and Dinner options are available.
While it is considered a Quick Service Restaurant, you place your order at the register then have a seat either outside on the patio or inside at the high tables. You will receive a number and a server will bring over your food when it is done. The staff are very friendly and help to make your dining experience very enjoyable.
There are many delicious food options available; a good starter could be one of the seasonal soups or a salad. Salads are your traditional Caesar with or without chicken, Chinois Chicken salad or Baby Kale and Quinoa Salad. Want something a little heartier? You can choose from one of three sandwiches served on a ciabatta roll such as the Italian Bistro, Ham and Swiss or Turkey Club, there is also a Hummus and vegetable wrap if you would like a meatless opt…
Hi there, Disney Fans!
Happy November! (OMG, can you believe it's NOVEMBER???) Halloween is over and it is officially time to start rolling in the holiday season here at Walt Disney World. Yup, we start early around here! In fact, most holiday decorations, events and celebrations will begin within the first two weeks of November. And then, starting November 25th and running through December 30th, one of my very favorite things to do during the holidays will be kicked up a notch this year!
Epcot is the home to an awesome, international holiday celebration, appropriately titled "Holidays Around the World". Each of the countries in World Showcase is decked out in their holiday finest and in each location, you can learn about how the holiday season is celebrated, via live storytelling shows and other entertainment. But what are the holidays without FOOD???? Over the years, with the popularity of the food booths increasing at events like Food and Wine Festival and …
