5 MUST HAVE Items To Take To The Parks

Happy End of 2017, Disney Fans!      Well, I hope all of my Disney friends had a happy and magical holiday! Did anyone get surprised with a Disney trip reveal???

Today's post is a repeat from almost this same week last year, but since so many of you found it useful, I thought it was worth repeating.... and adding to! I want to tell all of you about the five items that I always have in my bag when I go into the park. It doesn't matter if I'm taking just my five year old to the park with me, my 9 year old and I are having a girl's day, or even if I'm going to the parks alone... (wait, that NEVER happens!)... I always have these five things with me. (And I bet you'll start taking at least one of them with you every time after reading this!) What are these amazing items? Read on!

Baby/Antibacterial WipesWell, since I have a little guy, these are usually with me anyway, but even when K gets bigger, I will always bring wipes with me. And not even for tushies! Wipes…

Disney has announced that a new Cirque du Soleil show will be coming to Disney Springs.

Nearly twenty years after teaming up to bring “La Nouba” to the stage, the two entertainment companies are working together on a new collaboration.
This original show will be created by Cirque du Soleil and will pay homage to Disney’s rich history of animation, with a vivid story told in a way that only Cirque du Soleil can deliver. Daniel Lamarre, President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, elaborated, sharing “We are incredibly inspired by Disney’s immense creative universe. We are convinced that bringing Disney’s magic to life on stage will touch audiences and bring them back to their childhood.”

An opening date is yet to be announced. The current La Nouba show will have its final performance on December 31, 2017.

Donald Trump made his debut in the Magic Kingdom's Hall of Presidents.

A True-Life Disney Holiday Magical Moment

Happy Holidays, Disney Fans!!!

Well, the big day is fast approaching and my kids are buzzing with excitement. We went into the parks this past weekend, to squeeze in some holiday fun, (and to get in the last visit of 2017, since our passes are now blocked out). We will still be on property plenty over holiday vacation, visiting Disney Springs, the resorts, etc, so I'll get my Disney fix, but no park access makes me sad! The good news is, when my passes start working again, Festival of the Arts will be getting geared up over at Epcot, so I'll have that to look forward to!

Today I want to share with you a magical, wonderful, true-life Disney story, perfect for the holiday season. This is not my typical post, but this season calls for something unusual and special. It's easy to get cynical this time of year, with all of the commercialism and whatnot, so it's important to take those moments to appreciate true holiday magic when we can find it. I hesitated at t…

Photo Safari: Holidays at the Monorail Resorts

Happy Holidays, Disney Fans!

As I write this, I am sitting at my desk, here in Orlando, (where it was 83 degrees yesterday), wearing a hoodie AND wrapped in a blanket, because it's in the 40's today! Weather here can be super unpredictable this time of year. What is NOT unpredictable this time of year is the beauty of the holiday decorations at the resorts! Every year, each Disney resort gets dressed up in its holiday finest to greet Guests who are staying onsite, or just passing through. One of my very favorite things to do as a local is to visit the different resorts and check out their Christmas trees, tinsel, gingerbread displays, Christmas lights and more.

Yesterday my family and I visited the resorts on the monorail line, (The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, The Polynesian Village Resort, and The Contemporary Resort), checking out the holiday offerings, and we thought you'd enjoy a little tour of what we saw. So, here we go!

     We started at the Polyne…
