When I travel to Walt Disney World, I usually pick a resort that transports me to another destination through its theme. Port Orleans takes me to New Orleans; Animal Kingdom Lodge takes me to Africa; the Yacht Club takes me to New England; and the list goes on and on. Disney’s Old Key West Resort is unique in that it doesn’t take you to some far off destination. It brings the heart of the Florida Keys the 300 plus miles to Central Florida! Disney’s Old Key West Resort is the quintessential idea of Florida vacation living. Upon arrival at the Hospitality House in the community of Conch Flats, guests are immersed in the sights and sounds of the islands. Across from the Hospitality House is home to the resort’s table service restaurant, Olivia’s.  Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com Reopening Date set for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World Good news!  Disney's Polynesian Resort will reopen to guests on July 19, 2021.  Disney refurbished guest rooms and the Great Ceremonial House. The resort will be opening, however, the new monorail station will not be completed yet.  The front-desk will reopen in the Great Ceremonial House and 'Ohana will reopen on July 9, 2021.
