Have you always dreamed about being a Disney Prince or Princess for the day?  Well, Disney makes that possible through Disney's Fairytale Weddings where you can plan a wedding or vow renewal with that little extra magic that only Disney can provide.   After getting engaged in Epcot, we always knew a Disney Fairytale Wedding was for us.  We started narrowing down options of where and when shortly after getting engaged, and reached out to Disney a little over a year before our preferred date, as they only start booking 12 months in advance.  As locations are very popular, we had to let them know our top three choices of locations or dates and times.  The date was important to us, so we had backup locations instead of backup dates.  There were three other couples that wanted our date and location, so we were entered into a lottery, and as luck would have it, we won our first choice!  View our guests had for Epcot's fireworks I spent the next six months or so booking external vendo

While taking a cruise in November 2022 on the Disney Fantasy, I decided to book the Ultimate St. Thomas through the DCL app while onboard. This excursion started at the bright and early time of 8:15am. The wait to meet with our group in the Walt Disney Theater was notable. When we were told where to sit, we noticed the color of our sticker did not match the others and double checked with the Cast Member. It turns out he had accidentally placed us with the wrong excursion group. I'm mentioning this so if it happens to you, you know to double check as well. Cast Members are human too. We funneled into a group of open air taxis pretty quickly once off the ship. It is not a far walk off the pier and would be challenging to lose the group. Wondering what to do when your Bahamian cruise stops in Nassau? Have other cruisers told you to stay on the ship? I recently went on a 3-night cruise aboard the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas that stopped in Nassau. I tried the two most popular recommended activities: visiting the free Junkanoo Public Beach and the Blue Lagoon Island excursion.  On my first cruise to Nassau, I stayed onboard the ship. Once I started venturing out and doing excursions, I realized I was missing out on so many beautiful places and memorable experiences. My favorite excursion to date was with Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas! You can read about that here . On this recent cruise, I decided to try the Blue Lagoon Island Deluxe Beach Break. This was a beautiful island paradise. It was a short 30 minute boat ride from the pier, with views of Atlantis and celebrity homes along the way. Universal's Great Movie Escape opened at Universal CityWalk in late 2022.  It is easy to miss, but a treat to find!  While the main draw here are the two highly themed and immersive escape rooms, anyone can pop in for a beverage and check out the memorabilia. I loved the vibes inside! If you want to do the escape activities, you have a choice between Back to the Future: OUTATIME and Jurassic World: Escape.  Ticket prices vary based on time of day and if you choose a private experience. The bar serves up specialty cocktails themed to the two escape rooms.  It was a Sunday afternoon so we went for a drink with an espresso pick me up, the Silent Era, and a mocktail, the Hoverboard Highball.  This is one of the few places we found at Universal Orlando Resort that has actual mocktails on the menu, so that was a super fun treat, but if you prefer the punch, they can add the liquor as well!
