Hey-Howdy-Hey, Disney Fans!      It's me, Tink! Back from a hiatus of blogging. Summer is a tough time in this house. With both kiddos home, it seems like I have no time for anything other than working and hanging with the kids. I am sure many of you can relate. Once school begins again, (in just two weeks!!!), things will go back to semi-normal... or as "normal" as we can get.      Anyway, the other day, I was talking to a co-worker and sharing with them how awesome our Disney Cruise was back in April, (check out the review  HERE !), and then came the same statement I hear all the time: "Well, Disney Cruise Line is for kids. I would never sail with them just me and my significant other." Part of me wants to say, "Your loss!", and walk away, reveling in the fact that I know something they don't know, but a bigger part of me, (the part of me that is completely and totally OBSESSED with Disney Cruise Line), makes me stop and say, "Ugh-uh...

Animator's Palate is the only restaurant that is on all four of Disney's cruise ships, and it really does just give you that magical Disney feeling! There's a little something extra as your meal progresses here, so pay close attention to your surroundings as you dine. Animator's Palate is typically where character breakfasts will be held on cruises of 7 nights or longer, so you might spend a bit of time here! The restaurant is located Deck 4 Aft. I was looking forward to this meal because it has one of my absolutely favorite items on the menu; Black Truffles Pasta Purseittes! On this cruise, Animator's Palate was our second night and also Formal Night, so we were all dressed up to enjoy the magic that awaited. Enjoy great views of the aquarium while you dine Coral Reef Restaurant is a tucked-away gem of a dining experience in Epcot’s Future World. Its entrance is just around the corner from the entrance to The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion, but you might miss it if you are not looking for it! Once inside, guests are greeted by a hostess in the reception area decorated in ocean blues, but the real feature of Coral Reef Restaurant – the massive aquarium – is hidden further inside the restaurant, allowing for lots of “oohs” and “ahhs” when being seated. The seating at Coral Reef is auditorium-style, meaning the tables and chairs are arranged on different levels from the lowest near the tank glass to higher up the further back you go in the restaurant, so that all guests have an opportunity to see the “show.” That show includes many species of fish and marine life, including large sea turtles, stingrays, sharks – and even the occasional scuba diver – swimming by throughout dinner. ...

Helloooooo, Disney Fans!       I hope you're having a "grand" week! I got to have a lovely brunch with a friend last week, at the Grand Floridian Cafe, and I wanted to share my experience with you, partially because I know that since you're reading this blog, you'll enjoy hearing about it, and partially because then I can call it "work" and not "being lazy and avoiding cleaning the house".      To me, the Grand Cafe is one of the rare "hidden gems" of Disney Dining. It's not crazy-popular, but that's probably just because when it comes to The Grand, Narcoossee's, Citricos and Victoria & Albert's tend to steal all the fame, not to mention the character meals at 1900 Park Fare. But this unassuming cafe is worth making the visit for.       I have dined here a couple of times before, and had somewhat mixed reviews of it, but more recently, I have found the Grand Floridian Cafe to be more consistent...
