Top 10 Must Do's at Disney California Adventure Park

Disney California Adventure Park opened on February 8, 2001 and has experienced a lot of changes since then. This park originally opened to highlight the state of California. I remember going to the park right when it opened. It had the letters spelling out California in the front of the park and as you walked into the entrance, you could see the "Golden Gate Bridge." Pixar Pier was called Paradise Pier and the big roller coaster was called California Screamin'. Presently, there are nine themed lands at Disney California Adventure: Buena Vista Street, Pixar Pier, Paradise Gardens Park, San Fransokyo Square, Performance Corridor, Grizzly Peak, Hollywood Land, Avengers Campus, and Cars Land. Going to Walt Disney World soon and wondering how you are going to fulfill your toddlers need for physical activity? You've come to the right place! Recently, I found myself and my toddler seeking out all the playgrounds in the parks while waiting for other family members to go on rides, or complete a Rider Switch (a.k.a. Child Swap). These are the best places for young kids to be themselves (and burn off some energy before nap time!)
