Where in the World? Picture Trivia!

Have you ever looked at someone's Disney vacation photos and just by the color of the ground or the hue of the walls immediately knew which attraction they were visiting?  Maybe you spotted a letter on a sign in the background or a lamp hanging over their heads and knew which restaurant they had dinner at that night.  Disney fans have a good eye when it comes to looking at photos and many of us can pick up the location with just the slightest hints.  If you fall into this category of people with this talent (a pretty impressive one at that), today's blog post is for you!  Below is a series of snippets of ten different photographs.  From these snippets you will need to guess which attraction the picture is from.  All of the photos were taken on or nearby attractions within the four theme parks of Walt Disney World.  When you've gotten your answers, send an email with the subject "Snippets" to vacations@kingdomkonsultant.com.  Those who have the most answers correct will be entered to win a prize.  We will choose a winner at random and will announce their name (along with the correct answers) on Thursday!  Have fun!

You Must Be This Tall to Ride... Universal Orlando Resort Edition

Universal Orlando Resort has branded itself as the more grown-up vacation destination in central Florida. With advertising campaigns like "kids grow up, so do vacations" and "grow bolder", it should be no surprise that there are many attractions at the Universal Theme Parks with height requirements.  If you're visiting the Universal Orlando Theme Parks with little ones, it's very important to familiarize yourself with the ride height requirements so you know which attractions your little ones can, and can't ride, based on their height. You'll find these helpful signs with height requirements for all of the attractions when you enter the Universal Orlando Theme Parks. Universal Studios Florida 34 inches - E.T. Adventure 36 inches - Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster 40 inches - Despicable Me Minion Mayhem 40 inches - Fast & Furious - Supercharged 40 inches - Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon 40 inches - The Simpsons Ride 40 inches -

Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs

Frontera Cocina is one of the many restaurants you will find with a celebrity chef at Disney Springs, this one is brought to you by seven-time James Beard award winner, Rick Bayless.  The warm colors and open atmosphere is very welcoming for a contemporary Mexican dining experience.  Reservations are highly suggested and can be made via My Disney Experience or the Open Table app and the restaurant is typically open for lunch and dinner from 11am to 11pm daily.   We had lunch here on a Monday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy at all, which was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the weekend. We settled in at a table in the middle of the restaurant and got ready for the meal ahead.  While somehow I missed a photo, we did start our meal with $5 margaritas which is definitely a great deal while on Disney property!  This was a "Margarita Monday" special and we would highly recommend it!  We also opted for some chips and salsa and some queso. Now,

Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs

Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs is one of my go-to spots for a great meal.  The restaurant itself is beautiful and I've had so many great meals there over the years. Chef Morimoto is a relatively well-known chef after appearing on Iron Chef America as one of the original Iron Chefs, so when he opened a restaurant at Disney Springs I was so excited to give it a try being a fan of the show and of Chef Morimoto.  This restaurant brings his masterful Asian cuisine to Florida in his first "Pan-Asian" concept.  With 20-foot chandeliers and glass walls giving a peek into the kitchen and a sushi bar upstairs, there is something to catch everyone's eye here. In October, they had specialty spooky cocktails on the menu that we just couldn't resist trying! One was pumpkin and lychee based and the other was grapefruit and rose and they were both good but the black magic was definitely our favorite.  Twisted Pumpkin: absolut elyx, pumpkin spiced liqueur, lychee, liqueur, house
