Let Anna help you plan the perfect vacation for your family!

Pros of the Disney Skyliner

Disney’s Skyliner, a gondola system connecting several resorts and two theme parks, opened a little over a year ago in September 2019. Before its opening, resorts on the Disney World Monorail, which connects three deluxe resorts and their related villas with two theme parks, were considered the most coveted accommodations … but has that changed now that the Skyliner is here? I recently stayed at Disney’s Riviera Resort, which features a Skyliner station with direct access to the back entrance of Epcot as well as the BoardWalk area and the Yacht & Beach Club. In the other direction, passing through the hub next door at Caribbean Beach Resort allows for access to the front entrance of Hollywood Studios in minutes. Other resorts with Skyliner stations include Art of Animation and Pop Century, which in my opinion raises the value of these Value Resorts. The ability to get to so many resort areas for shopping and dining is a bonus. The continuous cycle of Skyliner gondolas means the lin

Paddlefish Restaurant at Disney Springs

After arriving in Walt Disney World around dinnertime with no reservations on our latest trip, we headed over to Disney Springs to see what was available and Paddlefish caught our eye with the beautiful boat shining on the water.  There was space for us at the bar where they serve the full menu, so we settled right in for what was about to be a delicious dinner. We started with cocktails and were very impressed by not only the cocktail selection, but also the bartender's knowledge and expertise on the menu to guide us through our selections tonight.  At the recommendation of the staff, we had to give the Lobster Corn Dogs a try for our appetizer.  These were so fun and very delicious (and I don't normally like lobster!) They are most like a corn dog in that they are on a stick, but don't let that stop you from giving these a try.  Next up it was time for our entrees, we both opted for options "from the port" since we were in a seafood inspired restaurant, we could

Ears the News: September 27, 2019 Edition

Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com The 6 mile long Disney Skyliner opens at the end of the month in Walt Disney World, and we are now starting to hear confirmation of some of the operational details. As expected, lightning will be addressed by the Skyliner system closing when lightning is forecast. The system does feature lightning protection, but Disney will obviously be keeping guests out of the sky during bad weather. Bus service will be available during weather closure of the Skyliner. Photo courtesy of WDWMagic.com Disney Skyliner is able to carry 10 guests per cabin, and guests may also travel with strollers, wheelchairs and service animals. There are five stations in total covering the 3 lines - at Caribbean Beach, Pop Century/Art of Animation, Disney Riviera Resort, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot International Gateway. Caribbean Beach is the main gateway and you will transfer there to each
