It’s happened to all of us. You’re two Fastpass+ selections into your day at a Disney park and you have a while until you can use your next one. Maybe it’s not meal time, or parade time, or you don’t feel like getting in the back of that 200 minute wait standby line for Soarin’ (I’m not making this up, guys!), so what do you do? What attractions are accessible during those heavy crowd times, or what else can you do during that lull?
There is so much to do at the Magic Kingdom, I don’t know that you can ever consider any of these things “killing time”! My go-to’s when I’m looking for something with a short line are: Mickey’s PhilharMagic - SUCH a fun show, and something that’s always on my list of to do’s anyway! Swiss Family Treehouse - This is pure Disney nostalgia to me. It dates back to not only the opening of Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, but had roots before that at Disneyland. Since the Disneyland original has been re-themed to Tarzan, this is the one an…
Where do you call home? I live in Bethel, Connecticut.
Are you married? Yes, I just celebrated my 22nd wedding anniversary to my Disney prince, Mike!
Any children? Two, a 16 year old son named, Mickey, and my daughter, Brianna, who is 12 and as much a Disney gal as I am.
Favorite vacation destination? Haven't felt the need to go anywhere other than Disney World! But that might change to Hawaii after I experience Aulani :)
Favorite Walt Disney World Resort? A toss up between the Beach Club Villas and Bay Lake Tower. Both have awesome proximity to the parks. I love walking home to the Beach Club after IllumiNations, and the walk to the Magic Kingdom from Bay Lake is so convenient when there are crowds for the monorail.
Favorite Walt Disney World attraction? Main Street USA...I love to shop! But I also love the TTA since my family has such a fun time laughing together on it. And there's never a wait to get on!
Favorite Disney restaurant? The Rose and Crown Pub in Epcot. I l…

The fourth and final in-park Starbucks at Walt Disney World will be opening on June 18 2015. Located at Disney's Animal Kingdom in the former Creature Comforts gift shop on Discovery Island, the new Starbucks will offer all the beverages, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches served by the other three in-park locations. Coinciding with the opening of the Animal Kingdom Starbucks, Pizzafari will be discontinuing breakfast service from June 17, 2015 onward. The quick service restaurant currently serves a bounty platter, breakfast burrito, and a breakfast croissant from park opening through to 10:30am. Pizzafari will continue to serve lunch and dinner as normal.
A new rendering of STK Orlando has been released today that gives a first look at the new upscale restaurant and lounge coming to Disney Springs later this year. STK Orlando will be the largest STK location yet at 14,000 sq. ft. and will feature the on…
Nestled right in the middle of Downtown Disney's Pleasure Island district (soon to be Disney Springs), you will find one of the most authentic Irish pubs this side of the Atlantic; Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant! When I say authentic, I MEAN authentic folks! Most of the Pub was actually built in Ireland and shipped to Disney! The stage and all four bars (yep, you read that right FOUR bars) are well over 100 years old. The original Raglan Road is actually located on the south side of Dublin, Ireland. The bronze statue outside of the gent sitting on a bench, (which we ALL have taken pics with!) is a tribute to Patrick Kavanagh, considered to be one of the foremost poets of the 20th century, whose poem, Raglan Road, is how this wonderful establishment got its name. (The poem was later set to music by Irish singer Luke Kelly, of the Dubliners.) Raglan Road's Master Chef, Kevin Dundon (I personally recommend checking out his cook books) was celebrated for creating traditional Ir…
