Allure of the Seas is an Oasis class ship by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
Renovations for Allure of the Seas were completed in April 2025 at a cost of over $100 million. The project included the installation of the Ultimate Abyss dry slide, the Perfect Storm waterslides, a redesigned pool deck, and updates to the adults-only Solarium. Additional changes included the addition of Splashaway Bay, new dining venues such as El Loco Fresh, The Lime & Coconut bar, and the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, as well as Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade and The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar. The ship also introduced a new Royal Escape Room, a Laser Tag experience, redesigned Adventure Ocean youth spaces, and an updated teen area known as Social298.
Staterooms
Your stateroom is your home base for your cruise vacation, so of course you want to make sure it's comfortable for your stay. While there could have been a few more outlets in our cabin, everything else was just fine and met our needs. Everything was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of storage for our needs.
Dining
One of my favorite cruise activities is eating of course! We never found ourselves wanting for food onboard and we were very satisfied with our meals in the buffets, Main Dining Room and specialty restaurants. We found plenty of variety and couldn't even get to all of the options on our seven night adventure! For breakfast we liked the atmosphere of the Solarium Bistro or for a quicker breakfast we loved the Park Café selection. Windjammer or Sorrento's were perfect lunch spots depending on the mood we were in. And the Main Dining Room always had selections that pleased everyone and the specialty dining we enjoyed on this trip wowed us! Since it is an Oasis Class ship, there are plenty of options to suit every taste, with Sabor and Samba Grill being the more unique specialty restaurants available compared to other ships. Winjammer had great options for vegetarians and vegans as well, and the Main Dining Room had vegetarian and vegan options on the menu every night which were delicious.
There is also a Starbucks on the Promenade (not included in drink packages) and Vintages Wine Bar in Central Park serves up snacks and apps for a fee.

Entertainment
There is so much to see and do on an Oasis Class ship, it's unlikely you'll be able to do it all. From Broadway-caliber live entertainment, to talented performers on stages big and small, and of course activities like trivia, games and napkin folding, you can do as much or as little as you'd like on this ship!

Recreation & Activities
If you like to be active on vacation there is plenty for you to do on this ship! You can rock climb or ride a carousel at the Boardwalk or even catch a wave on the Flowrider up on the sports deck. Sports courts are also available and rotate through free play and organized tournaments. Families can have fun playing some mini golf together or check out the free skate time at the ice rink. There is also a fantastic gym and a full ship walking and jogging track.
If you want a little more R&R, check out the Vitality Spa or hang out by the pool. In addition to hosted activities, there is also a card room and a library for your enjoyment.
If you're still looking for more to do, why not check out the Casino Royale or the Park West art auctions?
For tots, kids and teens, there are kids clubs where they can hang out and have time to themselves with hosted activities or just private space to hang out with people their own age. The activities vary by age group but are all organized and supervised by the fantastic Royal Caribbean team.

Overall, Allure of the Seas had so much to offer and we had an amazing time as a family on this ship. The food was fantastic and the entertainment was top notch. Our staterooms were comfortable and our stateroom attendant was incredible! I wouldn't hesitate to book on this ship again and have found some great deals.
