Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya

If you're planning a trip to EPCOT and have a penchant for sushi, Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya should be at the top of your dining list. Nestled in the heart of the Japan Pavilion, this restaurant offers an authentic izakaya experience that promises to tantalize your taste buds and elevate your dining experience.

A Culinary Adventure in Epcot's Japan Pavilion

From the moment you step inside Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, you'll be transported to an authentic Japanese izakaya. The restaurant's warm, inviting ambiance, coupled with traditional decor, sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. We were also quite impressed with the service and enjoyed the atmosphere here for our meal.

A Delightful Start: The Appetizers

We kicked off our meal with the Kara-age Chicken (fried chicken) appetizer and let me tell you—it was love at first bite. Perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, this dish was bursting with flavor. The subtle seasoning and light batter made it an ideal start to our culinary adventure. If you're a fan of fried chicken, this appetizer is a must-try! We also enjoyed the Grilled Wagyu Gyoza which was a nice contrast to the chicken.

The Showstopper: The Sushi Bridge

Next up was the pièce de résistance: the Sushi Bridge. This impressive presentation of sushi arrived at our table, and we couldn't help but marvel at its beauty. The sushi bridge featured an array of expertly crafted sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, each piece a work of art. The freshness of the fish, the precision of the cuts, and the vibrant colors made this a visual and gastronomic delight.

Every bite of sushi was a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs at Shiki-Sai. From the melt-in-your-mouth salmon sashimi to the perfectly balanced rolls, the Sushi Bridge exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s the kind of dish that not only satisfies your hunger but also provides an experience—one that you'll remember long after the meal is over.

Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is more than just a place to eat—it's an experience that immerses you in Japanese culture and cuisine. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or a novice, the diverse menu offers something for everyone. The attentive service, the authenticity of the dishes, and the overall ambiance make it a standout dining destination in EPCOT.
