Dinner at Topolino's Terrace

Topolino's Terrace is a stunning restaurant at the top of Disney's Riviera Resort, which is most easily accessed via Disney's Skyliner.  The restaurant boasts a terrace with amazing views of the Walt Disney World Resort but is also beautiful in its own right with the attention to detail really coming through.  While it serves a wonderful character breakfast and brunch , we opted to have dinner here on this evening which is more of an upscale character-free affair.  This is a great spot for a night out where you'd feel comfortable getting a little fancy for the meal. We started our evening at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready.  The cocktails here are as delicious as they are beautiful (zero-proof as well!).  I've been here several times now and tried several drinks, and honestly haven't been disappointed with a single one.  We loved the seasonal drink so much one time we asked for the recipe and were gifted a hand-written note with it! A staple on

Topolino's Terrace Breakfast Review

Breakfast at Topolino's has been getting quite the hype since it opened, so I was thrilled when I snagged a reservation with my fellow Agent Maci on our trip to celebrate Magic Kingdom's 50th birthday. This restaurant is located on the 10th floor of Disney's Riviera Resort, the newest to open on Walt Disney World property. The décor is modern and bright, with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony to continue to take in the views right outside. Breakfast is a character dining experience, with Mickey and friends being dressed in their artsy best! Park attire is welcome, but you could just as easily get a little fancy and feel comfortable. We were told it would be about 10 minutes so we went to the bar where I ordered a Bellini and Maci got a Mimosa, light on the OJ! The excellent bartender barely had time to make our drinks before our table was ready. We were quickly greeted by our server Chris from Orlando and we're pretty sure we found the OG! For

Resort Highlight: Disney’s Riviera Resort

Disney’s Riviera Resort opened in December 2019, so it’s just been open for over a year. The beautiful resort is themed to Walt Disney’s travels through Europe and his love of the French and Italian Riviera. The special touches like a library, bistro, terraces, and manicured grounds at this resort invoke a feeling of being in such a place. The Riviera is considered a Disney Vacation Club property, and as such it offers only villa accommodations, including a Tower Studio that sleeps two, a Deluxe Studio that sleeps five, a One-Bedroom Villa that sleeps five, a Two-Bedroom Villa that sleeps nine, and a Three-Bedroom Villa that sleeps 12. One of my favorite things about the Villas are how the smaller rooms – particularly the Deluxe Studio – can comfortably accommodate a family of five. In addition to a queen bed, there is also a queen pull-down murphy-style bed as well as a twin pull-down bed. There is plenty of sitting room for the daytime once these beds are folded in, including a table

Ears the News: March 29, 2019 Edition

Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com During the Orlando Magic – Philadelphia 76ers game, Mickey Mouse made a surprise on-court appearance to announce that The NBA Experience at Disney Springs will open August 12, 2019. In collaboration with the NBA, Disney is developing NBA Experience as a one-of-a-kind environment packed with 13 interactive elements and hands-on activities across 44,000 square feet and two floors. NBA Experience will give guests the chance to feel like a basketball superstar. “When we were young, we played basketball in our driveways or in the park, creating those imaginary moments of making the game-winning shot for a championship,” said Stan Dodd, executive producer, Walt Disney Imagineering. “We want to take that energy and help you feel what it’s like to be an actual NBA or WNBA player.” Concept art courtesy of Disney Upon entry to NBA Experience, guests will feel as if they’re walking through the
