Topolino's Terrace Breakfast Review

Breakfast at Topolino's has been getting quite the hype since it opened, so I was thrilled when I snagged a reservation with my fellow Agent Maci on our trip to celebrate Magic Kingdom's 50th birthday.

This restaurant is located on the 10th floor of Disney's Riviera Resort, the newest to open on Walt Disney World property. The décor is modern and bright, with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony to continue to take in the views right outside. Breakfast is a character dining experience, with Mickey and friends being dressed in their artsy best! Park attire is welcome, but you could just as easily get a little fancy and feel comfortable.

We were told it would be about 10 minutes so we went to the bar where I ordered a Bellini and Maci got a Mimosa, light on the OJ! The excellent bartender barely had time to make our drinks before our table was ready.

We were quickly greeted by our server Chris from Orlando and we're pretty sure we found the OG! For those not in the know, Chris from Orlando is the name tag given to Cast Members who don't have their correct tag’s name yet. We were shown proof that it's really his name, and we have a strong hunch he does in fact live in Orlando. He was such a fantastic cast member, it would just feel right that all the newbies be named after him.

We received our bread bucket and everything was delicious! The spreads were strawberry jam and hazelnut chocolate.

Chris from Orlando recommended we order the Quiche Lorraine Frittata and the Wood-Fired Butchers Steak, with a side of waffles. We also ordered an extra side of eggs, which was a drop too much. Y’all, everything was SO good. The quiche was light and tasty. The fresh fruit and whipped cream on the hot, fresh waffles were welcome and bright, but the clear winner for me was the steak. It was perfectly cooked, and immensely flavorful! If any of these entrees appeal to you, you won't regret ordering it, but if you’re at all inclined, please make the choice to treat yourself to this steak for breakfast!

Characters here walk around frequently and are so fun to get pictures with in their festive attire.

Since characters were still distanced, they weren't signing anything on our visit. We were given an autograph signature card at the end of our breakfast.

I wanted to try an additional drink, but also hadn't had my coffee for the day yet. Chris recommended I order the second bubbly drink with my meal and then brought me a delicious iced coffee to go when we were wrapping up. It was the cherry on top of a practically perfect meal.

If you’re staying nearby, or have a resort day planned on your next Disney trip, I highly recommend Topolino’s Terrace for breakfast!

Photo Tour and Deck Plan: Disney Fantasy

The Disney Fantasy took its maiden voyage in 2012 and until 2022, was the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It's the sister ship to the Disney Dream so you'll see many similarities between the two ships. The Disney Fantasy is an absolutely gorgeous ship, boasting an Art Nouveau style. The ship has 14 decks, 1,250 staterooms, is 1,115 feet in length and weighs 130,000 gross tons. We'll tour the ship starting from Deck 1 up to Deck 14, going from Aft to Forward. Let's start our photo tour! Deck 1 Deck 1 is where you'll find the Health Center. It's also where you can exit the ship to board a tender at Ports of Call that require ships to anchor offshore.  Deck 2 Deck 2 is where you'll find one of the three main dining rooms, Enchanted Garden.  The restaurant transforms throughout dinner, changing from day to night I love these booths! You can also find staterooms, a Midship Detective Agency kiosk and the Vista Gallery showcasing Disney artwork.  Deck

5 Ways To Get Psyched For Your Disney Trip!

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Disney Guys and Gals!      Is anyone familiar with Barney Stinson's "Get Psyched" Mix? Anyone? How I Met your Mother Fans? Ok, great! So you totally get where I'm going with this! If you have no idea what I am talking about, you can watch a clip  HERE!  Basically, the theory is that no matter what's going on in your life, you can get yourself psyched up and ready for something awesome to happen, all by listening to the right piece of music. Playing off of that theory, I feel that one of the very best things about a Disney trip is actually  preparing  for it, or getting psyched! You can have a whole bunch of crappy stuff happening in your life at the time, but if you have a Disney trip on the horizon... even if it's 564 days away, you have something to look forward to and enjoy preparing yourself for. In fact, many Disney fans, (myself included), pretty much get from one day to the next by preparing for upcoming trips. You may even book a ne

The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel Review

I love staying at the Disneyland Hotel so when I got the opportunity to stay at the new Villas at the Disneyland Hotel during opening weekend, I couldn’t pass it up. Because it was opening weekend, we were greeted in the entrance way of the lobby with balloons and many photo opportunities. When we arrived, there was a mural of the Haunted Mansion. I love how the seats in the main lobby were designed like the teacups in the parks. You can check in using the Disneyland app, drop your bags with bell services and head into the parks or use the amenities why you wait until your room is ready. When your room is ready, the resort will send you a text and you can use the Disneyland app on your mobile device to unlock the room. We dropped off our bags and went straight to the parks. We received a text around 1PM that our room was ready. In the new Discovery Tower (the Villas), you'll find that the lobby is very spacious with many places to sit while you read or wait for your family. Th
