A Day at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival seems to get bigger and bigger each year.  This can be quite intimidating!  Today's blog is to show you that you can get a great taste for the festival in just one day in Epcot and still enjoy other aspects of the park as well.  It will be extremely challenging to try every single booth  in one day, so we highly recommend grabbing a Festival Guide when you get to the park and looking over the menus.  See what sounds good to you, and plan to hit those booths and not just the first ones you see.  Lines will build throughout the day for the food booths, so consider that when you make your plans.  Full disclosure, we didn't even get to the park until about 3pm and we aren't big on rides.  But we had a leisurely day and had a ton of fun!  It was a perfect Florida day with blue skies and fluffy clouds.   We were lucky enough to get a Virtual Queue for Guardians of The Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, so we headed that way first.  We absolutely

Review of 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival - Part Three

Welcome back to another review of the 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival food and beverage offerings! If you read my original review  or Maci's review in Part Two , you know that the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicked off on July 15th and ends on November 20th so there's still some time to squeeze in a last minute trip if you haven't made it to the Festival yet this year!  For those who haven't read my previous post or haven't visited the Festival before, each year the Festival includes Global Marketplaces where you can taste your way around the world, live entertainment and fun activities the whole family can enjoy.  On my August trip I was able to try a handful of Festival offerings and on my most recent trip we tried even more tasty treats (and enjoyed a few items again!) With that, let's get on with the review... Mac & Eats Location: Near Mission: SPACE The Mac & Eats booth is new to the Festival this year so we were v

Review of Emile's Fromage Montage

Cheese lovers rejoice! This year's Epcot International Food & Wine Festival has the perfect activity for cheese enthusiasts everywhere; Emile's Fromage Montage. As described in the Festival Passport, guests will "join Remy's brother Emile on a stroll around EPCOT and indulge in a variety of delicious cheeses, served in inventive ways." Sign me up! (And sign up I did!) On my recent trip, we decided to partake in Emile's Fromage Montage. What exactly do you have to do to participate? Simply purchase any 5 menu items from Emile's Fromage Montage locations listed in the Festival Passport and collect a matching stamp for each menu item you purchase. You'll know which menu items are part of Emile's Fromage Montage by looking for the cheese icon located next to each item in the Festival Passport and on the menus outside each booth.  Let's review the 5 menu items: 1. Griddled Cheese - Greece - Between Morocco and Japan I wasn't sure what to e

Review of 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival - Part Two

Welcome back to another review of the 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival food and beverage offerings! If you read Ashley's original review , you know that the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicked off on July 15th and ends on November 20th so there's still about a month left of this wonderful time of Epcot fun.  For those who haven't visited the Festival before, each year the Festival includes Global Marketplaces where you can taste your way around the world, live entertainment and fun activities the whole family can enjoy. I tend to focus on the Global Marketplaces, because food is life :)  I spent two days in Epcot this month and was able to sample quite a bit!  Here's what I tried and my thoughts on it all. Appleseed Orchard Location: Canada Theater The first major pro of this booth is that it is indoors - enjoy a break from the elements!  The food options are very limited here but the beer and cider options are plentiful.  The apple crum
