2021 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

The 2021 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival looks different than in years past but it is still one of the most beautiful times to visit Epcot and has many fun treats in store. First up, you have the stunning topiaries and gardens dotted throughout the entire park.  These are what really sets the tone for this festival. If you're lucky, you might even spot a character or two hanging out in the gardens.  I spotted both Alice and Mary Poppins at different times in the English Tea Garden!  Tinkerbell is tucked away in the back of the UK Pavilion Mickey makes a second appearance by World Showplace Next you have the Outdoor Kitchens and lots of yummy food and beverage choices around World Showcase and even popping down into Future World a bit. This is always my favorite part of any festival but it's so enjoyable at Flower and Garden because the weather tends to be just perfect for outdoor dining.  Here are a few of my favorites from this year's festival.  ...

Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill

Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill is located at Disney Springs and brings a world renowned chef within reach for your next Disney vacation. The restaurant boasts laid back California cuisine with Mediterranean influences and takes on comfort classics. Reservations can be made 60 days in advance and are highly recommended.  We were sat with a lovely view of the pizza kitchen for our meal on this particular evening.  The restaurant was elegant yet comfortable, perfect for a dinner after a day in the parks.  We started the meal with a sangria and a beer, but they also have a delightful cocktail menu and wine selection.  With our wonderful view of the pizza oven, we of course had to try one of the pizzas so we opted for the  Italian Sausage Pizza with pickled peppers, red onion, fresh mozzarella, and basil and it did not disappoint.  It was delivered hot and fresh to our table and those pickled peppers added such a nice special touch to your everyday sausage pizza. Howdy partner ! If your family loves the Toy Story movies as much as mine does, you need to read these ten tips! If you want to give your kids a fully immersed Toy Story experience, don't forget to do these ten things: 1. Stay in the Toy Story Section of Disney's All-Star Movies Resort! Ask your Kingdom Konsultant Agent to book you in the preferred section of the resort, which are all Toy Story rooms! Only preferred rooms are Toy Story themed.  2. Take pics with all the Toy Story character displays and scenes at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, including RC, Bo Peep, and in Andy's room.  3. Have a PhotoPass photographer take your pic with the giant Toy Story Land sign and Woody statue. They even put a scarf on him during Christmastime! There are a few other spots to get PhotoPass pictures taken here too. 4. Grab a bite to eat at the quick service spot Woody...

Yak and Yeti Review

Yak and Yeti Restaurant is located in Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.  It is a bright blue house with two floors for dining during lunch and dinner.  The second floor has wonderful views of the streets below.  The owners have graciously opened their doors to welcome all travelers from around the world with a full service restaurant, bar and a quick service area next door as well. When you walk in it is hard to know where to look first.  There are decorations resembling ones' travels across many areas of Asia.  Featured are many unique statues, displays of armor, cabinets full of artifacts, specialty boxes elegantly displayed on beautiful tables, paintings and more. We started our meal with some of the delicious specialty cocktails they offer, Pink Himalayan: Tanqueray Gin, Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice, Passion Fruit and Lemon Grass Flavors, Salt Rim and the South Seas Traveler: Created by the Yak and Yeti Bartenders...Myer's Original Dark Rum and Ca...
