Make the BEST of the Crowds Being at Their WORST

Happy Holidays, Disney Fans!!!!

So by this point in December, I am sure you are so full of holiday cheer, you could BUST! And maybe, if you've been really good this year, Santa will be bringing you a little MagicBand, putting you at the top of all of the best FastPass lists, and getting you hooked up with ALL of the best Disney dining reservations. (And if not, no worries... the crew here at Kingdom Konsultant Travel has got you covered!)
Here, in Orlando, my fam is psyched to get to enjoy all of the holiday fun that the parks have to offer... BUT... we know what comes with it. The price that we pay for getting to celebrate at Disney.... CROWDS. We are officially in one of the busiest weeks of the calendar year for the Disney parks and I thought it may be helpful to cover what some of my favorite things to do are when the crowds are big. So whether you are an Annual Passholder, looking for a break from the out-of-state and out-of-country crowds, or a first-timer feeling a bit overwhelmed and maybe needing a moment to regroup, I feel ya, and I have some help. These are just some of the attractions and areas that you may find to be less crowded when the rest of the park is slammed. Check 'em out!

  • Head north for a fun-filled adventure in Canada, at the O Canada film.

Disney's Hollywood Studios
  • Let the little ones chill out at the Baby Care center. There is a small sitting area with a Disney movie on a little TV. There are also a couple of changing stations, and a small area where mothers can breastfeed.

Animal Kingdom
  • Of course the main attraction at Animal Kingdom is the ANIMALS! And they are all over. Take time to walk through the Oasis, the Tree of Life walkways and even the paths in Dinoland, to enjoy views of some unique and lovable animals. Don't miss the two best animal viewing areas, the Maharajah Jungle Trek and the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.
  • Become a Wilderness Explorer! Sign up at the front of the park, just before the Tree of Life, and then stop at the stations throughout the park and complete tasks to earn your badges.
  • Kids will love running, playing, climbing, and even digging at The Boneyard. It's a huge playground area but there's also a buried dinosaur fossil area, where young dino-lovers can use a shovel and pail to uncover the bones of a huge beast.
  • There are plenty of carnival games to keep you busy for a while in Dinoland. It can get expensive though, since they are all an additional charge.
  • Take the Wildlife Express Train out to Conservation Station and Affection Section. The train ride itself is fun and includes some potential animal viewing. Conservation Station houses the animal clinic and nutrition areas, as well as exhibits on conservation. Out back, the Affection Section is like a petting zoo, filled with goats, sheep, donkeys, pigs and more. It's the only place in the park where you can touch the animals.
  • Lots of unique character meet and greets here, too, like Tarzan, Flik, Pocahontas, and Russell and Dug.
  • Animal Kingdom's live entertainment is awesome! Not only are to two main shows amazing, (Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Musical), but the musical performers rock! Burudika leads a street party in Harambe. Chakranadi is in Anandapur and features the sitar. There are lots of great live options, so check out the times guide in the park!

Everywhere Else!

Top 10 Must Do's at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris, formerly known as Euro Disney, opened on April 12, 1992. When traveling to different Disney parks, it's hard not to compare it to Disneyland in California or Walt Disney World in Florida. Each park is unique in it's own way. With so many wonderful attractions, it was a little difficult to come up with a Top 10 list. I would have picked "it's a small world", but that was closed when we were visiting. Here are my Top 10 things to do at Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris: 10. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, or Indiana Jones et le Temple du Peril in French, is a roller coaster attraction that travels up to 59 feet. It does go through an inversion and travels up to the speed of 36 mph. The attraction is on the shorter side but it was fun to experience this unique attraction. 9. Alice’s Curious Labyrinth Alice's Curious Labyrinth is a maze attraction in Fantasyland. The goal is to reach the castle of

Chronos Club Review at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

I recently stayed at the Chronos Club at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I've been a fan of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort since my first visit as it reminds me of my hometown, San Antonio. I've stayed in rooms ranging from preferred, Casita Suite, Tower King, and now Club Level access. The Chronos Club is located on the 15th floor of the Gran Destino Tower and can only be accessed with a key card or MagicBand to a corresponding Club Level reservation. I've previously stayed Club Level at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and Disney's Grand Californian Resort. These are all considered Deluxe Resorts. Something that makes the Chronos Club stand out is that it is located in what Disney considers a Moderate Resort. I was really excited to check out the difference in experience, since there can be a notable difference in price tag for Moderate vs. Deluxe Res

Makahiki Character Breakfast at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa

We had the pleasure of dining at Aulani's Makahiki breakfast and it was a delightful, delicious experience! Makahiki is a restaurant at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai'i. The Aulani Resort is recognizably Disney as soon as you pull into the property. Its well-manicured gardens, water features, and stunning lobby look like a Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World.  As off-site guests to Aulani, (we stayed in Waikiki, but that's another blog) I have some helpful tips for visiting the resort, whether it be for the restaurants, the beach, or both! Makahiki – The Bounty of the Islands is open daily and reservations can be made 30 days in advance. I made my reservation on the Aulani website. There were a few times to choose from. I chose the earliest available that day, which was 8:30 a.m., because we had jetlag from the trip. A friendly Cast Member called me a few days before the reservation to confirm it with me. You can, however, find earlier times on other d
