Helios Grand Hotel: Everything You Need to Know + Photos

If you’re planning a visit to Universal’s Epic Universe and want a stay that feels just as magical as the parks themselves, then Helios Grand Hotel is the place to be. I recently stayed there and couldn’t wait to spill all the details. From gorgeous rooms to exclusive perks and great views this resort exceeded my expectations in some ways - and surprised me in others. Helios is located adjacent to the new park, but furhter away from the original two Universal Orlando parks.  Lobby Desk 🌟 Theme: Mediterranean Magic with Modern Luxury Helios has a stunning Greek-Mediterranean theme that feels both upscale and relaxing.  The hotel is one main building with only 500 rooms, not a resort style layout with multiple wings or buildings. There is one pool, within close proximity to the back of the resort. There are ample loungers, umbrellas, complimentary towels, sunscreen, and cold water. They have roaming servers to bring you drinks as well. The pool has a zero entry area for kid...

Disney Parks attractions are interesting, educational, and fun at the same time! There are valuable learning opportunities for your children in every subject area. As a homeschool mom, I fully understand finding the educational value in everyday activities, and especially our vacations.  EPCOT I could do an entire blog just on how educational Epcot is! It's my favorite!! For geography buffs, there are entire "countries" to explore. Get hands-on, in depth experience from around the world in Epcot’s World Showcase. Epcot offers cool "Kidcot" stops for extra learning fun! Children can try food and drinks from other countries, and even meet Cast Members from those actual countries who come to work at Disney. Your child will also see the different architecture and dress, hear languages, music, and taste foods of many different cultures. Visit the Bij...

There’s something magical about Disney that most people can agree on — but mention you're headed back to Walt Disney World again, and suddenly the questions start flying. "Wait, weren’t you just there?" "You're going back already?" If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve either been on the receiving end of those skeptical looks or you're trying to figure out why someone you know can’t seem to stay away. Fireworks over Cinderella Castle 1. “We only need one day in each park.” One day in each park, even for a seasoned Walt Disney World visitor, is simply not enough.   Even for those who try to plan down to the hour what they wil...
