GEO-82: EPCOT’s Hidden Lounge for Grown-Up Magic

If you’ve ever wished for a quiet, upscale escape from the theme park hustle—no strollers, no sticky fingers, just sleek vibes and sophisticated bites—GEO-82 is your new EPCOT must-do.

Nestled inside the iconic Spaceship Earth sphere, this adults-only lounge is a tribute to EPCOT’s legacy and a celebration of elevated experiences.

Opened in June 2025, GEO-82 gets its name from the year Spaceship Earth debuted—1982. The entrance is tucked near the Project Tomorrow exit, and once inside, guests are greeted with cool towels, panoramic views of World Celebration Gardens, and a vibe that’s more boutique hotel than theme park.

The lounge is open daily for lunch and dinner, and yes—reservations are required. It’s 21+ only, making it EPCOT’s first true grown-up hideaway.

Let’s talk food. The Fungi Flatbread is a standout—roasted mushrooms, miso-mascarpone, fontina, mozzarella, and a drizzle of black garlic molasses make this dish earthy, umami-rich, and surprisingly indulgent for a small plate. It’s the kind of bite that makes you pause mid-conversation and say, “Wait, this is really good.”

Other menu highlights include Truffled Ahi Tuna, Cannellini Hummus, and a Jumbo Lump Crab Gâteau, with the Chef’s Selection of Artisanal Cheeses, Cured Meats, and Accompaniments being the most sharable—but the flatbread is the one we’d come back for.

Keep in mind that the menu is small and leans toward small-plates and tapas-style offerings rather than full traditional meals. It’s perfect for grazing, sipping, and relaxing—not necessarily for satisfying a big appetite.

Signature Sips: Beautiful but Overhyped?

GEO-82’s cocktail menu is ambitious—think Caramelized Leek Martinis, Brown Butter Old-Fashioneds, and Strawberry-Black Pepper Sours. The drinks are crafted by Disney’s Flavor Lab and served with flair (some even come with snack pairings). We tried the brown-butter old-fashioned after deciding the Campari-forward strawberry sour was not our cup of tea.

But here’s the honest tea: while the drinks are visually stunning and conceptually creative, we found many of them to be more style than substance. The flavors didn’t always live up to the hype, and at $23–$28 per cocktail, it’s a splurge that might not satisfy every palate.

If you’re a cocktail nerd, you’ll appreciate the effort. If you’re just looking for a refreshing sip, you might be better off ordering a basic cocktail (the bartenders are very talented!) or heading over to La Cava del Tequila or Rose & Crown Pub.

Worth the Reservation?

Absolutely—for the ambiance alone. GEO-82 is a serene, stroller-free oasis with fireworks views, thoughtful service, and a menu that’s more refined than most in-park options. It’s not cheap, and the we preferred a classic old-fashioned crafted with the high quality ingredients to the more unique flavors the menu provided, but the experience is undeniably special.

But remember: Guests under 21 are strictly restricted, and this policy is firmly enforced—so if GEO-82 is on your list, make other plans for your younger party members!

✨ Pro Tip from Agent Maci

As a foodie who lives for seasonal bites and hidden gems, I say: book GEO-82 for the vibes and the flatbread. Skip the whiskey flight unless you’re a bourbon aficionado as they are some strong sips, and don’t forget to time your reservation with the Luminous: The Symphony of Us fireworks show for a truly magical evening.
