A new healthy snack kiosk will be opening soon in the Magic Kingdom's New Fantasyland. Offering snacks such as hummus, fruits, vegetables, juices and teas, 'Prince Eric's Village Market' will add another option for a quick bite in the New Fantasyland. The kiosk will be located just outside 'Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid. "It's a small world" is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment form 12/2/2013 to 12/12/2013. Disney has today confirmed that the California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort will be reopening on 9/9/2013 after its near six month major refurbishment. Along with the newly remodeled interior, a revised menu will be offered, retaining many favorites but adding some new flavors. The popular flatbreads are back, but Chef Brian Piasecki is also using the wood-burning oven for creations such as baked local prawns with charred lemon and savory meatballs with herbed orzo. 'Sofia the First' will begin making her meet and greet appearances at Disney's Hollywood Studios on Sunday 8/11/2013. The new meet and greet will feature a new 'Enchancia' backdrop, and will be located just outside 'Disney Junior - Live on Stage!' in the Animation Courtyard. Along with the new meet and greet will also be a new pirate ship backdrop for the 'Jake and the Never Land Pirates.' Disney's Animal Kingdom is now operating a new morning opening procedure giving early access to some attractions. The previous rope-drop hold near the tip board has been discontinued. Guests will now being allowed entry into the park 15 minutes before the official opening time. Once inside the park guests are no longer stopped at a rope, and can experience some of the offerings before the official opening time. The 'Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show' at Disney's Hollywood Studios is scheduled to be closed for a brief refurbishment in November. The closure begins on 11/18/2013 through to 11/21/2013. A new snack kiosk offering nutritional information and gluten-free snacks is now open at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Called 'Gardens Kiosk,' you can find the new location just outside the Adventurers Outpost meet and greet on Discovery Island. The kiosk is unique in that it offers information about allergies and intolerances for restaurants throughout Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Guests can still talk to a chef at each individual restaurant, but the kiosk gives an opportunity to gain more information prior to arrival at a restaurant. Secondly, the kiosk also offers a range of pre-packaged gluten-free snacks. Disneyland Paris Disneyland Parc Part One

Main Street The "Magic Kingdom" in Paris is usually known as Disneyland Parc, though it does have the Kingdom name occasionally. It is both very unique in layout, but very similar to both Disneyland and Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom too. Some would say it is the best of both, both in design and in attractions. For the main E tickets, previous versions of each were redesigned from the ground up with changes to layout, scenes and technology afforded by a ridiculous budget. Basically The Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Pirates, Small World and Space Mountain were given a wish-list treatment by Imagineering. And it shows. Disney's Magical Express is conducting a test pickup service from Downtown Disney for the month of August 2013. Guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort can choose to be picked up from Downtown Disney rather than the resort. Eligible Guests must have a domestic flight that departs from Orlando International Airport between 3:00 PM and midnight or an international flight between 4:00 PM and 1:00 AM on the day of check-out.   The pickup location at Downtown Disney in the parking lot near Raglan Road. Signage and cast members in the area will be on hand to assist guests. Gary Sinise is set to return for the 2013 Candlelight Processional, taking up the opening night slot from 11/29/2013 to 12/1/2013. Disney has officially announced that the 'Festival of the Lion King' will be moving to a new theater currently being built in Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  The post does not give any new information, other than an opening date of 2014.
