Narcoossee’s – A Forgotten Favorite

I’ve been vacationing at Walt Disney World since I was four years old.Throughout the years, I have eaten at countless restaurants across the parks and resorts.I have my fair share of favorites that I always make sure to visit on each trip but some restaurants just don’t make the cut on each and every trip.Sadly, Narcoossee’s was one of those restaurants.

I had been to Narcoossee’s once as a child and I remember enjoying the view and the food but I didn’t have a lot of memories of the place. On a trip in 2009 with my parents, we decided to revisit the restaurant and we all enjoyed our meal but for some reason it just didn’t stand out to me.Thankfully, we decided to go back to Narcoossee’s on our November 2012 trip and it was one of our favorite meals of the trip!A forgotten favorite had returned as a front-runner for my favorite restaurant and this time, I wasn’t going to forget it!

Narcoossee’s is located on the waterfront of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.It is in a fabulou…

It’s All in the Disney Details

If you have ever been to a Disney Park, you have seen Disney’s amazing attention to detail in every attraction, restaurant and gift shop.  Those details are what sets them apart and adds that special magical quality to every Disney vacation.  The details don’t stop at the theme parks but continue throughout each and every Disney Resort.
We’ve previously taken a look at seemingly ordinary objects such as trash cans, carpets, and towels but today we look at the extraordinary…Hidden Mickeys.  From the wallpaper and carpets in the Resorts, to the queues for attractions.  Hidden Mickeys are one Disney detail that can be found anywhere and everywhere!
A Hidden Mickey is an image of Mickey Mouse that is worked into the design of a Disney attraction, resort, restaurant or other area.  The most common Hidden Mickey is the classic Mickey silhouette of three circles that form Mickey’s head and two ears.  There are also other forms of Hidden Mickeys, such as a side silhouette, and there are even …

Disneyland Paris Disneyland Parc Part One

The "Magic Kingdom" in Paris is usually known as Disneyland Parc, though it does have the Kingdom name occasionally. It is both very unique in layout, but very similar to both Disneyland and Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom too. Some would say it is the best of both, both in design and in attractions. For the main E tickets, previous versions of each were redesigned from the ground up with changes to layout, scenes and technology afforded by a ridiculous budget. Basically The Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Pirates, Small World and Space Mountain were given a wish-list treatment by Imagineering. And it shows.

Starting under the Disneyland Hotel, we find the turnstiles and ticket booths. The main hotel building is on stilts, acting as the most elaborate canopy ever! Once through the gates, the ami, air train station looms in front. Passing underneath, we are in a much larger town square than in America. The whole park was also given the blessing of size without feeling barren.…
