Cruising is our family’s favorite vacation, as there is so much to do!

15 Must-Have Cruise Items for Your Packing List

The Kingdom Konsultant Agents are avid cruisers and we have compiled our must-haves for your cruise packing list. Everyone's cruise needs are different, of course, but this is a general list of items to make your cruise more comfortable! 1. Collapsible laundry hamper and a trash bag - Keep your dirty clothes separate from your clean clothes, and off the floor. I love the pop up kind of hamper because they are cheap, and easy to pack flat in your suitcase. I empty all my dirty clothes into a trash bag before repacking my suitcase to debark the cruise. Then, when I arrive at home, I take that right to the laundry room. It also keeps the rest of my stuff smelling good. You can have your laundry done on the ship if you'd like, for a fee.  2. Luggage tag holder - You'll look like a cruise pro with a luggage tag sleeve. I used to laminate my tags with packing tape and attach them to the bag handle. This looks much neater and they are reusable too. You won't have to worry if ...

Sailing Disney Cruise Line Without Kids: A Relaxing and Indulgent Escape

Disney Cruise Line is often celebrated as the ultimate family vacation, but what if you set sail without kids? As seasoned travelers, we discovered a side of Disney magic designed for adults—full of sophistication, relaxation, and delightful experiences. From indulgent spa days to competitive trivia nights, this cruise proved that Disney caters to guests of all ages with its signature touch of excellence. The Disney Difference: Service, Entertainment, and Magic for All One thing that stood out on our voyage was the exceptional service from the cast and crew. Whether it was the friendly bartenders remembering our favorite drinks, attentive servers making every meal special, or the crew at the adults-only pool ensuring a peaceful retreat, Disney’s commitment to hospitality was evident at every turn. Another highlight was the incredible entertainment. Whether we were watching Broadway-caliber productions, hanging out at trivia, or learning to draw a favorite character. The level of tale...

First or Second Dining on Your Disney Cruise?

When it comes to dinner, the seating time that you should select for your Disney Cruise is the one that works best for your family. Let's look at the pros and cons of both early and late dining and hopefully that will help you decide! Your show time in the main theater will be based on your dinner seating, so the schedule will work like this: First dinner seating starts at 5:45pm, and goes to the theater for their show at 8:30pm. Second seating will go to their show first, and have dinner at 8:15p.m. Many families with small children find the  second seating to be too late for little ones  to be eating, and they end up selecting the first seating. As a result, second seating typically is easier to get into, and has fewer children in the dining room . This also means that the  Oceaneer's Club tends to have their activities based on the schedule of the earlier dinner .  That's not to say that your children cannot attend if you are in the second seating, ...

DCL - Rotational Dining Basics on the Disney Treasure

Disney Cruise Line distinguishes itself from the competition with its unique "rotational dining" setup. Rotational dining ensures that all guests experience each of the three themed dining venues on board. Each night of your cruise itinerary, your party, tablemates, and service team will rotate to one of the three main dining rooms. This arrangement allows guests to enjoy multiple restaurants on board while maintaining the same wait staff. Upon arrival at the cruise terminal, guests will receive their restaurant schedule and table number through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Each evening, you will be assigned one of the three restaurants, but you will remain at the same table number each night, making it easy to remember your seating. You will also have the same tablemates and servers, fostering familiarity and the potential for building lasting friendships with fellow guests and staff. In addition to rotational dining, there are two dinner seatings each night of your...

There are a lot of reasons people THINK they wouldn't like a Disney Cruise. Cruising brings up a lot of questions, and there are a lot of misconceptions out there, too. Even for seasoned Disney Parks vets, a Disney Cruise can be intimidating for a first timer, and we want to assure you, we have your back! So let’s debunk some cruising myths. Here are 5 of them: Myth #1. I’ll Get Bored  Fear of boredom seems to be a big one for people who have never cruised before. Some people seem to think that all there is to do is swim and eat. While I have done a lot of both of those on cruises, there are so many other things to do, too! It’s far more likely that you’ll get off the ship thinking of all the things you didn’t have time to do then get off thinking you were bored. The onboard Disney Cruise Line app will show you a detailed schedule of events for the day. Aside from the obvious sunning and pool activities, you’ll find animation classes, miniature golf, first run movies, cooking class...
