Cirque du Soleil is offering a deal for Florida residents to see the La Nouba show at Downtown Disney. Form January 20 through to March 28 2015, Florida residents can purchase Category 3 seating for $49 +tax, Category 2 seating for $69 +tax and Category 1 seating for $89 +tax. The Magic Kingdom's Liberty Tree Tavern restaurant will be closing for an extended period in the latter half of 2015. The closure begins on July 6 and runs through to November 20 2015. The Walt Disney World Resort Monorail System will be operating revised routes on both the Resort and Express beams over the next few months. The following changes will be in operation February 3 - 5, February 9 - 12, February 23 - 26, March 2 - 5 2015, between the hours of 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Monorails on the Resort beam will stop at Magic Kingdom, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort only. Dining with Deb Disney Style

The owner of her own catering business for years, the self taught cook has catered for everything from the local Elks Lodges and High Schools to the Atlantic County Officials.  Her private themed parties of up to 150 guests were well known as well as cooking for many celebrities.  She has had the pleasure of knowing and meeting many wonderful chefs and cooks (and learned a few techniques from!) such as Chef Robert Irvine, Melissa D'Arabian, Sunny Anderson, Paula Deen, Pat and Gina Neely and Guy Fieri.  Deb has also been a field editor for Taste of Home Magazine for the last 8 years and she does as much cooking for her community as she can to help out.  Deb also helps manage many Facebook pages that have to do with the various Disney lounges including the most recent, Friends of Disney Dining and Libations. We are pleased to announce that she will be contributing to our blog exclusively as a featured weekly blogger starting on February 1, 2015

The Downtown Disney Water Taxi service that carries guests between the various districts of Downtown Disney will be making some changes. Effective January 18 2015, the internal taxi service will only run from the Marketplace to the West Side docks. It will not stop at the Pleasure Island dock. No word yet on whether this change will be permanent, or how long it will be in effect. Pirates of the Caribbean at the Magic Kingdom is expected to close for a six month refurbishment later this year. Disney has not yet announced or confirmed any closure. The refurbishment is likely to begin around the summer, and run through until the end of 2015, reopening in time for the busy holiday season. THINK by IBM at Innoventions West will close on January 1 2015 and Test the Limits Lab at Inventions East will close on January 6 2015. Both exhibits have reached the end of their sponsorship period, with no word yet on any replacements. The Magic Kingdom's Jungle Cruise is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment in the Spring.
