Ears the News: January 25, 2019 Edition

The former Pixar Place at Disney's Hollywood is back open to guests as an all new Incredibles themed area - Municiberg.

You can meet super suit designer Edna Mode and see some of her greatest creations in an indoor meet and greet. At the end of the block, Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone, are making appearances throughout the day during a dance party featuring music, dancing, and games.
Character appearances in Town Square got a shake-up last week as part of Mickey and Minnie's Surprise Celebration, with different sets of characters appearing each day of the week.

This is the current weekly schedule, but as always is subject to change.

Ears the News: January 18, 2019 Edition

Tickets are now available for the 2019 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom.

The earlier start introduced in 2018 continues for 2019, beginning a day earlier than last year at August 16. The full schedule is as follows:
August 2019 – 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30 September 2019 – 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27 and 29 October 2019 – 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31 November 2019 – 1  As in recent years, pricing changes depending on the specific day, but tickets begin at $79 for advance purchase, rising to $135 for October 31. This year's pricing shows the expected price increase of around $5, with 2018 tickets beginning at $75.

     Since we find ourselves between Epcot Festivals for the moment, (but just for like, a minute, since Festival of the Arts starts this weekend!), I thought I'd show you some treats and eats from other spots on Disney property that you may want to indulge in. Grab your fork.... let's go!

Merida Cupcake: All Star Music
     So, before we get to this cute little Scottish princess cupcake, let's talk about All Star Food Courts, in general. They are kinda the sleepers when it comes to Disney snack destinations. No one really visits them unless they're staying at an All Star, but they have some amazing desserts and treats! Just look at their cupcake selection!

Walt Disney records has released the soundtrack for Pandora - The World of Avatar, which is now available on iTunes and subscribers to Apple Music.

The soundtrack includes music from Flight of Passage, Na'vi River Journey and Satu-li Canteen. Also included is the area music that plays around Pongu Pongu.

On iTunes, the soundtrack can be purchased for $9.99 and includes all 12 tracks, or $1.29 per track. The full soundtrack is also on Apple Music for subscribers.

BREAKING NEWS!: 2019 Festival of the Arts Booth Menus

I hope 2019 is off to a magical start for all of you! I'm here today, bringing you the 2019 Festival of the Arts Booth Menus!!!!

The 3rd Annual Epcot International Festival of the Arts will run from January 18th - February 25th, 2019. For those of you who have not gotten to experience this relatively new festival, it is a celebration of the arts; including performing arts (Broadway performances), visual arts (art displays and demonstrations), and culinary arts (food booths a la Food and Wine Festival, called "Food Studios"). It takes place mostly in World Showcase, but it does bleed into Future World a bit as well.



In this post, we will be focusing on the Food Studios and their offerings. If you are interested in finding out more details about the Festival events and entertainment, check out my previous post.
