Florida is currently a COVID-19 hotspot and rated at the highest level of transmission by the CDC, with 20% of the nation's cases being reported in the state. Masks are now required in all indoor locations starting July 30th.   Masks are required on all attractions, including those that are primarily outdoors.  Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com Reopening Date set for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World Good news!  Disney's Polynesian Resort will reopen to guests on July 19, 2021.  Disney refurbished guest rooms and the Great Ceremonial House. The resort will be opening, however, the new monorail station will not be completed yet.  The front-desk will reopen in the Great Ceremonial House and 'Ohana will reopen on July 9, 2021. Stage shows are back at Walt Disney World with the opening of 'A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King'. It is now playing at Disney's Animal Kingdom with showtimes available in My Disney Experience.  Most days, you will find 6 performances at 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm. This is a big step forward towards reopening of Walt Disney World. Photo Tour: Universal Studios Florida with Social Distancing

We've gotten a lot of questions about what it's like to tour the theme parks since Universal Orlando Resort reopened earlier this year. Let's take a photo tour through Universal Studios Florida to see what's changed since the COVID-19 safety guidelines have been put in place. One of the first changes you'll notice after entering the park is that park maps are unavailable. There's a sign where the park maps are usually kept that asks guests to "be safe and practice social distancing" and also encourages guests to download the Official Universal Orlando Resort App for wait times, show times, maps and more. There's a QR code available for easy download. I highly recommend you download the app before you arrive so you can access wait times, virtual line and also order food. Very light crowds right after opening. Another big change is the boarding process for attractions. Universal is doing a great job keeping guests socially distant throughout the queu
