Disney's Grand Floridian Resort: Where Magic Meets Luxury

Classic. Elegant. Luxurious. The list can go on and on when describing Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. This is a place where Victorian charm is seamlessly blended with modern elegance, with a touch of magic. Often referred to as Disney's flagship resort, the Grand Floridian is the perfect choice for guests who want to experience the best Disney has to offer in resort amenities. What Disney does best is tell stories, and with this resort, the Imagineers did an amazing job of immersing guests in a world of charming details. Walking through the pathways, you'll feel lost in the turn-of-the-century hotel that celebrates the golden age of travel. The attention to detail is stunning. For example, as you're walking through the main lobby, look down; you might recognize a few friendly faces hidden throughout the marble floor! ROOMS The rooms at the Grand Floridian are among the largest standard rooms on property. At an average of 448 square feet, there is plenty of space

Resort Studio Room Tour at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

I didn't think Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa could get any grander, but then I stayed in one of their Resort Studio rooms. These are the newest rooms at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Resort Studio rooms are located in the Big Pine Key building which is very close to the main building. The location makes it very convenient to get to the dining options and transportation. Not only is the building close to the main building but it's also across from the Courtyard Pool and Courtyard Pool Bar. Resort Studio rooms are located in the Big Pine Key building When you enter Big Pine Key, you're greeted with a simply lovely lobby. The furniture is super cute and gives off a very cozy, chic vibe. There's lots of pastel colors with floral prints and touches of nature. Lobby seating area in the Big Pine Key building The chic, nature inspired vibe continues down the hallways and into the Resort Studio rooms. I couldn't love these r

Disney's Contemporary Resort Review

There are many sophisticated resorts in the world, but how many of them have a magical monorail running through them transporting you to the Magic Kingdom? Disney's Contemporary Resort is where you can find modern elegance with a sprinkling of pixie dust, and an abundance of the classic Disney service, quality, and storytelling. If you've never been to Walt Disney World, or simply aren't sure which one is the Contemporary Resort, I can almost guarantee you can recognize it. As a kid, this was always "the hotel that the monorail goes through" to me. As one of the two original resorts, the A-frame body of the tower is a classic icon representing WDW resorts. It is a wonderful place to stay, visit, shop, play, and eat (I prefer all of the above!). LOCATION and TRANSPORTATION The first thing you'll notice, besides the distinguishable shape of this resort, is its location. While it's impossible to pick the best feature of the Contemporary, the proximity t

Set Sail for Fun in the Sun at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort

If you’re looking for a resort with a great location, numerous dining opportunities and an amazing pool, look no further than Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Although two separate deluxe resorts, they share a turn of the century New England style theme along with many amenities. They also share a spectacular location next to Crescent Lake. Disney's Beach Club Resort One of the best features of these resorts is, without a doubt, their location. With over 1,000 guest rooms combined, the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are a short walk away from Epcot’s International Gateway, where you can catch a ride on the Disney Skyliner, Disney’s BoardWalk Resort area, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and a short boat ride away from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s hard to beat that location!  (If you're in the mood for a longer walk, you can also walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios.) With its pastel blue exterior and seaside details in the lobby and guest rooms, Disney’s Beac
