Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort

I often receive questions about "villas" or "those vacation club rooms" so I wanted to share my experience staying at Bay Lake Tower, the Disney Vacation Club addition to Disney's Contemporary Resort in one of their two bedroom villas. First of all, Disney Vacation Club (DVC for short) villas range from Deluxe Studios (sleeping 4-5) to 3 Bedroom Grand Villas (sleeping 12) and you do NOT have to be a Vacation Club member to book them! These options are great for those that like the home away from home feel or for those that travel with larger parties and like to have the shared space together.  All of the Villas include Disney level accommodations, microwave and fridge. Additionally, 1 bedroom villas and above include a full kitchen and dining area as well as a washer and dryer for laundry.  Let's start with the room. Bay Lake Tower has a modern elegance vibe with some statement colors and deluxe accommodations.  A two bedroom villa has a master suite

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

You can find more pictures of this resort by clicking here . Saratoga Springs, New York is a fantastic small town Upstate, which I had the pleasure to live in for four years.  So, when Disney opened the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, I could not wait to stay there! Saratoga’s main attraction is the horseracing track that is still active today.  The resort is inspired by the Victorian track life of the 1800’s and also the great Natural Springs.  The d├ęcor of the main lobby and grounds incorporate the art and styling of that era.  Saratoga Springs Resort has two dining options. The Artist’s Palette is the quick service option for the resort and is located just off the main lobby.  They serve three meals a day and have special offerings such as mickey waffles, sandwiches and pizza.  This is also where you can go to find the gift shop and purchase other necessary pantry items.  The Turf Club Bar and Grill is the table service option at the resort and features fish, burgers and stea

Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort Review

When you think of Magic Kingdom resorts, you probably think of the Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian. But don't forget to consider another wonderful choice: Bay Lake Tower. This is a deluxe villa resort connected to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Although it is a Disney Vacation Club resort, it can also be booked as part of a Walt Disney World package.  Location/Transportation I really love staying at Bay Lake Tower. I get all the amenities of Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the larger rooms for my whole family to be comfortable just like we are at home, but better. The lobby of Bay Lake Tower is adorned in glass and marble, and has the atmosphere of a fine hotel with modern touches. I find it to be comfortable, clean, and fun as any of the  Disney property resorts are. It’s impressive with the towering structure and Sky Bridge overlooking Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle and Space Mountain “across the street”. The staff is always welcoming and helpful; th
