2021 Holiday Cookie Stroll at Epcot

Do you love the holidays? How about cookies? If you answered "yes" then the Holiday Cookie Stroll at this year's Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is the perfect activity for you!  After our fun with Emile's Fromage Montage during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival earlier this year, I knew we had to participate in the Holiday Cookie Stroll. Participation in the Holiday Cookie Stroll is super easy. All you have to do is purchase five sweet cookies from select locations during the Festival and make sure to collect your matching stamp for each cookie you purchase. You'll know which menu items are part of the Holiday Cookie Stroll by looking for the cookie icon located next to each item in the Festival Passport and on the menu board outside the booth.  Let's review the 5 cookies: 1.  Black and White Cookie - L'Chaim! Holiday Kitchen - Between France and Morocco This was the first cookie we tried on the Holiday Cookie Stroll and it did...

WDW 50th Anniversary Foodie Guide - Part 2

In Part 1 of our Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Foodie Guide, Agent Maci kicked off our series to review the new sips and bites you can find around the Walt Disney World Resort for the World's Most Magical Celebration. The celebration continues for the next 18 months so you'll have plenty of time to try these new tasty treats. We did our best to chip away at the extensive list of celebration food and drinks on our trip over the 50th Anniversary kick-off weekend so we could report back to you. It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it! ABC Commissary (Disney's Hollywood Studios) Caramel Apple Tart - Spiced Caramel Cheesecake Mousse Apple served atop a Cinnamon-Apple Tart The Caramel Apple Tart dessert at the ABC Commissary was absolutely delicious! I'm a fan of cheesecake and any apple desserts so I was very happy that this dessert didn't disappoint. The cheesecake is rich but it's a decent size so you can easily share it with a few people. It als...

WDW 50th Anniversary Foodie Guide - Part 1

The Most Magical Celebration kicked off on Friday, October 1st to celebrate 50 years of the Walt Disney World Resort in central Florida.  While this celebration came with lots of great things, one of the many was over 100 new food items to try across the parks and resorts.  While we haven't come close to trying them all yet, we did our best to start making a dent in them! Over the next 18 months as this celebration continues, our agents will continue to add to this series with our thoughts on more of the great food options offered from fun desserts to Walt's favorites. Amorette’s Patisserie (Disney Springs) 50th Celebration Petit Cake – Vanilla chiffon cake with celebration blue mousse, blueberry jam, and lemon curd Okay I'm definitely starting off with one of the strongest items I've tried so far.  This cake is so beautiful to look at it almost hurt to cut into it, but then we did and the inside wa...

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

When you’re passing by the Norway Pavilion in Epcot please do yourself a favor and stop by the quaint Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. Small and unassuming on the outside, but mighty on the inside, this cute cottage has become a popular spot amount Walt Disney World-goers. You may have heard of this place before due to its famous school bread, but Kringla Bakeri og Kafe has much more to offer than just that!  Normally, Kringla hosts a variety of Scandinavian goods, including pastries, pretzels, sandwiches, assorted desserts, and Nordic beverages. Since the reopening, Kringla is sporting a limited menu for now, but may be restored to its full glory in due time. Worry not, because this menu still has delicious crowd-favorites available! Here are some examples: School Bread. A delectable, custardy, coconutty bun. What’s not to love? I don’t need to go into too much detail about it, because frankly, it speaks for itself. If you somehow haven’t tried one yet, please do! Kringla . The bakery’s n...
