Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner Review

Liberty Tree Tavern is a table service restaurant in Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square.  If you aren't specifically looking for it, it can be easy to pass by as it so perfectly blends in with the atmosphere of the land.  Liberty Tree Tavern serves a family-style feast which reminds many of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.  Our party of 8 dined here to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time!  The inside of the restaurant has a cozy home-like feeling which goes wonderfully with the comfort food they serve. There's a nice waiting area inside with tables and coloring pages (pre-social distancing) for kids if your table isn't ready when you arrive.  With the social distancing in place, there are large dots on the ground for your party to claim and wait in your own space.  The meal starts with a wonderful salad that everyone in our party enjoyed. The Declaration Salad is a simple tossed mixed greens with a house-made dressing.  There are also...

Top 5 Romantic Experiences at Walt Disney World

Have you dreamed of a romantic getaway with your sweetheart... and Mickey Mouse?  You are not alone!  Many adults and couples travel kid-free and experience a romantic side of Walt Disney World.  Here are our Top 5 ways to spend time with your sweetie at Walt Disney World. 5. Watch fireworks from a more secluded location Main Street U.S.A might have a fabulous view of Happily Ever After, but that also means it is super crowded, not the most romantic feeling to be crowded in by people and families on all sides.  Wander over to Fantasyland, Liberty Square, or Frontierland. Fireworks with a Haunted Mansion perspective 4. Stroll the World Showcase My favorite times at World Showcase are just after 11am when it opens, or late at night after the fireworks have ended.  You'll get more time to explore and things will actually be open if you start at 11am, and you will enjoy lower crowds until about 12pm as people start to finish their time in Future World and...

Early Morning Magic: Magic Kingdom

There are a lot of hard ticket events going on at Walt Disney World these days.  If you have the extra budget to play with, it can be hard to choose which one is right for you.  On a recent trip, we opted to splurge on the Early Morning Magic at the Magic Kingdom which takes place in Fantasyland. We had to be up bright and early, but thankfully we were staying nearby at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort so it was only a 15 minute walk from our room to the front gates to check in.  The event started at 7:45am, before the Magic Kingdom opened to the rest of the days' guests. It was a little rough to get up, but if there's ever a reason to wake up at 6:30am, it is Disney!  After our quick walk over we arrived right around 7:45am and were quickly through the turnstiles and heading down Main Street, U.S.A. The crowds heading towards the castle Once we reached the hub area things really opened up and it was amazing to see such an empty Magic Kingdom....
