Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com . Disney has announced that a new Cirque du Soleil show will be coming to Disney Springs. Nearly twenty years after teaming up to bring “La Nouba” to the stage, the two entertainment companies are working together on a new collaboration.  Photo courtesy of  WDWMagic.com . This original show will be created by Cirque du Soleil and will pay homage to Disney’s rich history of animation, with a vivid story told in a way that only Cirque du Soleil can deliver. Daniel Lamarre, President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, elaborated, sharing “We are incredibly inspired by Disney’s immense creative universe. We are convinced that bringing Disney’s magic to life on stage will touch audiences and bring them back to their childhood.” An opening date is yet to be announced. Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com. Construction walls now surround the former Universe of Energy Pavilion at Epcot. Ellen's energy Adventure closed on August 13, 2017 to make way for the upcoming Guardians of the Photo courtesy of WDWMagic.com .  Galaxy coaster.  Much of the original Universe of Energy Pavilion will be used as queue and pre-show space, with a new ride building set to be built behind the Wonders of Life pavilion. Much like Rock 'n 'RollerCoaster, the separate ride building will house the actual rollercoaster ride, linked to the original building by a launch tunnel. Guardians of the Galaxy is speculated to open around Spring 2021. The Summer Course at Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is now closed for refurbishment. Mobile Order has begun at Columbia Harbor House which completes the roll-out of the service at Magic Kingdom. Mobil Ordering has also begun to roll out at Epcot. Electric Umbrella is currently online and Liberty inn will follow on August 7, 2017. Tables in Wonderland can now take advantage of the recently announced 30% discount for Annual Passholders and DVC Members at select resort restaurants. An important difference with the Tables in Wonderland discount vs the Passholder discount is that it also applies to alcoholic beverages. The Magic Kingdom began its new start-of-day experience earlier this week, aimed at improving the guest arrival process. Here is everything you need to know ahead of your next trip. Early Entry onto Main Street U.S.A. Instead of being held at the main entrance area, the tap-styles now open at least an hour ahead of regular park opening, meaning that typically you can now enter the park at 8:00 AM when the park opens at 9:00 AM. PhotoPass is on hand for photo opportunities with a less crowded background. Breakfast and Shopping Entry to Main Street U.S.A. early gives more time for shopping and breakfast before the park officially opens. All of the shops are open, as is the Main Street Bakery Starbucks. Casey's Corner is also open, with a breakfast menu including Muffins, Bagels, Croissant Doughnuts, Corn Dogs, and Hash Brown Dog. The Disney Fantasy's Star Wars Day at Sea happened on 8 different sailings, with a one-day ship takeover by all things Star Wars , including characters, games, movies and music! Captain Cook's at Disney Polynesian Resort is scheduled to be closing for a major refurbishment in late March. The quick service restaurant closes on 3/28/2014, and is expected to reopen in the summer of 2014. During the closure, a temporary quick service location will be setup in the Great Ceremonial House. The menu offering will be very similar, but there will be no Dole Whip offering. The temporary location will be operating daily from 6:30 AM to 4:30 AM. The hugely popular Hyperspace Hoopla will not be part of this Star Wars Weekends , but fret not fellow Star Wars fans.
