Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com The France pavilion's Palais du Cinéma will reopen Friday January 17 with an updated Impressions de France movie and an all new “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along” directed and produced by Don Hahn, producer of the animated and live-action “Beauty and the Beast” films. Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com In a recent update at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, the Star Wars inspired menu names have been removed and replaced with simple food titles. Photo courtesy of WDWmagic.com   The Braised Shaak Roast has become Beef Pot Roast, Smoked Kaadu Ribs is now Smoked Pork Ribs, and the Roasted Endorian Tip-Yip Salad is now simply a Roasted Chicken Salad. View the full menu at Disneyworld.com for more of the new names. It isn't clear why the names have been removed, since the original menu had a detailed description of each item and what it contained. Ears the News: March 15, 2019 Edition

Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com The new "Captain Hook's Pirate Crew" at Disney's Beach Club Resort is the latest immersive experience for kids at Walt Disney World Resort. Taking place from 5pm to 8:30pm, Captain Hook will be lookin’ for a new band of adventurers to learn the pirate code and follow clues leading to hidden treasure. As part of Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew, these young buccaneers will comb through the resort and set sail on a pontoon boat around Crescent Lake including an escape room type experience. Once the treasure is unearthed, all join in a Pirate Feast that includes selections such as Cannon Meatballs with marinara or macaroni and “gold” sauce for entrees, along with a treasure chest treat or fruit for dessert. Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew is priced at $55 (plus tax) per child and is available for ages 4 to 12; the adventures begin April 28, 2019. For more information or to book

The earlier start introduced in 2018 continues for 2019, beginning a day earlier than last year at August 16. Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at  WDWMagic.com The new "Disney Junior Dance Party!" is now open at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The show for pre-schoolers can be found in the animation courtyard, taking over from the previous "Disney junior Live on Stage!" In the show, DJ Deejay and host Finn Fiesta invite everyone in for the party, creating an interactive atmosphere for kids to sing, dance and play along with favorite Disney Junior stars like Doc McStuffins, Timon from “The Lion Guard,” and Vampirina from the hit Disney Junior series, “Vampirina.” Mickey Mouse races in from “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” just in time for the big finale. Ears the News: January 5, 2018 Edition

Welcome to the latest edition of Ears the News Brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com . The American Adventure in Epcot's World Showcase will be closing for a month-long refurbishment later this month. The closure will begin on January 15 through to February 14. Similar to the recently reopened Hall of Presidents, expect to see upgrades to the projection system and a new finale film. The American Adventure last closed for refurbishment in the summer of 2007 which saw updates made to the finale of the attraction. Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will return to a 3:00 PM start time as of January 1, 2018. The Liberty Square Riverboat at the Magic Kingdom will be closing for a 6 month refurbishment. The refurb is scheduled to begin on January 8 through to July 19. The Edison has soft-opened this week at Walt Disney World, and reservations can now be made for later in the month.
