Ears the News is brought to you by our friends at WDWMagic.com Two new Outdoor Kitchens will join this year's Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival - La Isla Fresca and Cider House, bringing the total to 13 kiosks. Epcot's 2016 International Flower and Garden Festival will begin on March 2 running through to May 30 2016 - up from 75 days to 90. At La Isla Fresca you will find Jamaican Braised Beef with Pigeon-Pea Rice and Jerk-Spiced Grouper or Chicken with Mango Salsa. At the new Cider House, a Field Greens salad with greens harvested from The Land pavilion, heirloom apples, Stilton cheese and dried blueberries will pair well with a blueberry hard cider from Plant City, Florida. A new Harmony Gardens musical playground with interactive drums and instruments will let children create music as they play on the playground. Adding the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package is a great way to pre-pay for your food, so that you don't have to worry about out of pocket costs while on vacation. Here are some secrets on how to best take advantage of your dining plan. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is one of my favorites! Babies and toddlers aren't covered. Children 0-2 years old can't get their own dining plan credits. At non-buffet meals, you have to order a separate children's meal which is not covered by the DDP, or share some of your food with them. Packing lunches and snacks helps supplement meals too. Dine outside the Parks for more variety. There are so many restaurants to choose from at WDW that each day and each vacation can be very different. There are even more dining selections available at the resorts and Disney Springs. Check out this video from the Disney Parks blog An update to the Walt Disney World website now allows changes to be made to existing dining reservations. Previously, any changes to seating date/time, and number of guests had to be done over the phone or by cancelling and starting over. The new website functionality allows these to be changed online up to 20 minutes before the reservation. The new feature is currently only available on the website, and not on the My Disney Experience apps.
