On October 1, 1982, Epcot opened as the second park in Walt Disney World. The park spans over 300 acres and has four distinct areas: World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature and World Showcase. World Celebration, World Discovery and World Nature feature attractions that embrace a global community, technological innovations, and our incredible planet. World Showcase is home to pavilions representing 11 countries: Canada, United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, the United States, Italy, Germany, China, Norway and Mexico. Epcot is an acronym for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Although Walt Disney's original concept for Epcot didn't come to life, the park embraces his idea of ingenuity and imagination. The park offers a unique experience of being educational and entertaining. It's a hard task to accomplish but I think Disney does it well! Here's my list of the top ten Must Do's at Epcot. 10.
