Enchanted Rose Lounge

Disney's Grand Floridian is a beautiful resort in and of itself, but after renovations to some of the public areas a few years ago, they have added the Enchanted Rose Lounge on the second floor of the main building, and it has been popular ever since.  This addition is just gorgeous, with inspiration from Beauty and the Beast, the expanded lounge space is elegant and refined and fits the rest of the décor at the Grand Floridian.  Views from the second floor into the main building Disney describes the lounge best: Step into a realm of elegance and wonder and lounge in 4 sophisticated spaces themed after the Disney live-action film. Visit this signature lounge for an evening of enchantment, where you can order exquisite appetizers like White Sturgeon Caviar, Truffle Fries and more. The bar itself glows from the light of a magnificent golden chandelier inspired by Belle’s flowing ball gown. Delightful details from the beloved fairytale are infused throughout the lounge. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort: Where Magic Meets Luxury

Classic. Elegant. Luxurious. The list can go on and on when describing Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. This is a place where Victorian charm is seamlessly blended with modern elegance, with a touch of magic. Often referred to as Disney's flagship resort, the Grand Floridian is the perfect choice for guests who want to experience the best Disney has to offer in resort amenities. What Disney does best is tell stories, and with this resort, the Imagineers did an amazing job of immersing guests in a world of charming details. Walking through the pathways, you'll feel lost in the turn-of-the-century hotel that celebrates the golden age of travel. The attention to detail is stunning. For example, as you're walking through the main lobby, look down; you might recognize a few friendly faces hidden throughout the marble floor! ROOMS The rooms at the Grand Floridian are among the largest standard rooms on property. At an average of 448 square feet, there is plenty of space

Resort Hopping - Magic Kingdom Resorts

Do you ever want a bit of a break from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks but still want to be doing something  and feeling Disney along the way?  Resort hopping is one of my favorite ways to spend the time outside of the parks and get a change of scenery and try some new things.  There are 4 (maybe 5) resorts in the Magic Kingdom area that are super easy to get to and each have something unique to offer.  Here are some ideas of things you can do at each resort, whether you want to spend a few minutes to a whole day.  I highly recommend the atmosphere at all of the resorts which is free to enjoy, but most of the recommended activities do come with a small cost associated (grab a snack, drink etc). Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa The Grand Floridian is the flagship resort of Walt Disney World.  It is full of elegance and has much to offer, even has its very own wedding pavilion.  You can arrive here via walking path from the Magic Kingdom, Monorail or Resort Launch.

Resort Studio Room Tour at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

I didn't think Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa could get any grander, but then I stayed in one of their Resort Studio rooms. These are the newest rooms at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Resort Studio rooms are located in the Big Pine Key building which is very close to the main building. The location makes it very convenient to get to the dining options and transportation. Not only is the building close to the main building but it's also across from the Courtyard Pool and Courtyard Pool Bar. Resort Studio rooms are located in the Big Pine Key building When you enter Big Pine Key, you're greeted with a simply lovely lobby. The furniture is super cute and gives off a very cozy, chic vibe. There's lots of pastel colors with floral prints and touches of nature. Lobby seating area in the Big Pine Key building The chic, nature inspired vibe continues down the hallways and into the Resort Studio rooms. I couldn't love these r
