DCL - Rotational Dining Basics on the Disney Wish

Disney Cruise Line sets itself apart from the competition with their unique "rotational dining" set up. What exactly is rotational dining? I'm glad you asked! Rotational dining is DCL's way to make sure that all guests get to enjoy each of the three themed dining venues on board. Each night of your cruise itinerary your party, tablemates and service team will rotate to one of the three main dining rooms. This gives guests a chance to try multiple restaurants on board while having the same wait staff. Guests will receive their restaurant schedule and table number upon arrival at the cruise terminal through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Each evening, you'll be assigned one of the three restaurants but you'll stay at the same table number each night which makes it easy to remember where you're sitting! You'll also have the same tablemates and servers so you'll start to get familiar with everyone. It's not unheard for guests to build some r

Must-Have Cruise Items to Add to Your Packing List

Whether you have cruised before, or this is your first time, check out our must-haves list for some new ideas!  Disney Wish and Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas in Nassau, Bahamas Everyone's cruise needs are different, but this is a general, all-itinerary list of hacks to make your cruise more comfortable. I will follow up with a must-haves list for kids too, so check the blog again before you sail!  I surveyed the other Kingdom Konsultant Agents who are avid cruisers like myself, and these are our must-haves.  1. Collapsible laundry hamper and a trash bag - Keep your dirty clothes separate from your clean clothes, and off the floor. I love the pop up kind because they are cheap, and easy to pack flat in your suitcase. I empty all my dirty or wet clothes into a trash bag before repacking my suitcase to debark the cruise. Then, when I arrive at home, I take that right to the laundry room. It also keeps the rest of my stuff smelling good. You can have your laundry done on the shi

Chichen Itza & the Mayan Ruins

If you’re sailing a Western Caribbean itinerary that includes Cozumel, you could do the normal things on the island (exploring, shopping, etc.). Then again, you might get the chance to see one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, Chichen Itza, which is close enough to visit while in port. Chichen Itza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world. While cruising on Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas, I booked an excursion to these legendary Mayan ruins through the RCCL app (Chichen Itza Ruins: Augmented & Virtual Reality). Be ready for a LONG day, because you’re getting off the ship at roughly 7:30am local time & returning between 4:30 – 5:00pm. At 7:00am, we met inside the Royal Theater on Deck 4 to sign in. The process was quick, providing you had everything they requested prior: Sea Pass Card Government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license) Some additional items you’ll want to bring: Water Sunscreen Motion si

Allure of the Seas - A Royal Caribbean Deal!

Allure of the Seas is an Oasis class ship by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.  She was due for a amplification in 2020, but that year was full of surprises so she was never fully updated.  However, we found ourselves still very satisfied without all the shiny new bells and whistles on the ship, and because she is missing some of those newer options, you can often find great deals on sailings on this ship. Let’s walk through what Allure of the Seas has to offer.  Staterooms  Your stateroom is your home base for your cruise vacation, so of course you want to make sure it's comfortable for your stay.  While there could have been a few more outlets in our cabin, everything else was just fine and met our needs.  Beds on Royal Caribbean are notoriously hard, but we didn't find them any less comfortable than on the newer ships.  Everything was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of storage for our needs. Dining One of my favorite cruise activities is eating of course!  We never fou
