I love a restaurant with a good theme and if you ask me, Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar has a great theme! This dive bar is set in a 1940s style airplane hangar and has a great backstory. You might be thinking "Jock Lindsey...that name sounds familiar." Fans of a little movie called Raiders of the Lost Ark will recognize Jock Lindsey as the sidekick and pilot to none other than Indiana Jones. As shared on the  official page  for the restaurant, the backstory of Jock Lindsey's is as follows: The two globetrotters (Lindsey and Jones) stumbled on Disney Springs in 1938 while chasing down a mythology-based tip in central Florida. Attracted to the town's natural springs and lush terrain, Jock bought some waterfront property and eventually settled down, piloting seaplane tours across the Sunshine State. Jock eventually built an airplane hangar, air tower and runway, and invited fellow members of The Society of Explorers and Adventurers to pay him a visit. His home base soon

On a December 2022 cruise on the Disney Magic, I enjoyed brunch at Palo with a dear friend who happens to be gluten free. Here is everything she ate and her thoughts on each item. At the time of writing, Palo brunch is $45 per person for an all you care to enjoy, course based meal that can be ordered off a menu. There is a dress code for this adult only dining experience, but I noticed the clothing choices were more casual during brunch vs dinner. We went with the suggested order and started with a complimentary glass of champagne, bread service, and charcuterie boards. She chose the seafood based charcuterie, and her bread service was a flatbread with pesto. For those in the know, the gluten free rolls in the main dining rooms on Disney cruises are delicious, fluffy rolls that are at times better than the regular rolls. On a recent Disney Cruise with a dear friend, we treated ourselves to a brunch at Remy. At the time of writing, this adult only dining option starts at $75 per person. There is a dress code and even at brunch guests definitely dress up for this dining experience. We got all gussied up after rolling out of the oh so comfortable beds on the Disney Fantasy, and went upstairs.  We were quickly escorted to our seat while being given a brief synopsis of the history of the restaurant. Our table had a lovely water view and if one looked hard enough, a small amount of the AquaDuck! We were given a water menu and asked what kind we would like. Simply put, if I am going to indulge in a beverage during an already expensive meal, it's going to be an adult libation nine times out of ten. For that reason, I told our server that I would be happy with tap and so did my dining companion who whispered in my ear she could not justify $15 on breakfast water. With so many new restaurants opening in Disney Springs lately, it can be hard to choose a place to have dinner for a Disney Springs night out.  However, for us it was easy for our date night amidst a family vacation.  We love a good wine bar and Wine Bar George opened to rave reviews so we had to give it a try! The sign for the restaurant at Disney Springs The atmosphere inside the restaurant is pretty casual with a nice bar in the entrance and a few rooms of tables covering two stories.  There are also tables outside on the balcony which can have great views of Disney Springs on a nice day or night.  We had made a reservation and were taken upstairs and sat at a lovely two top on the balcony for our dinner.  I will make note that both the inside and outside areas were quite loud, so not exactly a romantic atmosphere but a fun one for sure.
