If you’re sailing a Western Caribbean itinerary that includes Cozumel, you could do the normal things on the island (exploring, shopping, etc.). Then again, you might get the chance to see one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, Chichen Itza, which is close enough to visit while in port. Allure of the Seas is an Oasis class ship by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.  She was due for a amplification in 2020, but that year was full of surprises so she was never fully updated.  However, we found ourselves still very satisfied without all the shiny new bells and whistles on the ship, and because she is missing some of those newer options, you can often find great deals on sailings on this ship. Online check-in is one of the most exciting milestones because it means you are that much closer to setting sail on your cruise!
