Our Top Table Service Dining Choices at Universal CityWalk

Universal's CityWalk is a dining, shopping and entertainment area with so many options.  Where to begin?  The Kingdom Konsultant agents have been busy trying the options for you to help give you an idea of what to expect and maybe narrow some things down.  All of these restaurants are quite popular and reservations are recommended.  3. Bigfire Bigfire is going to be your more upscale/fine dining option at Universal CityWalk.  The décor is modern and features an open kitchen, the bar serves up craft cocktails and the menu features wood-fired dishes.  All of the food we tried here was delicious and the prices felt reasonable for the quality of food we tried.  If you want a nicer meal, definitely check out Bigfire (but if you show up in theme park clothes, you will be just fine too!). The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar This is simply one of my favorite places to eat.  Burgers please the pickiest eaters while sushi fans will rejoice at the selection.  For

All Things Butterbeer

It’s no secret that one of the most sought after treats from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is none other than the famous Butterbeer. I mean, how many pictures have you seen of guests proudly showing off their butterbeer in front of Gringott’s Bank or Hogwarts? Here, I’ll show you: No one knows for sure what is in Butterbeer, but most people agree that it has a sweet, butterscotch flavor.   I’ve heard speculation that it also tastes like it might have cream soda, vanilla, or shortbread flavoring.   Whatever those witches and wizards put in their magical concoction, we can all agree it is delicious!   But did you know there are multiple ways to experience butterbeer at Universal Orlando Resort?!   In fact, some of my favorite butterbeer treats aren’t even drinks at all!   If you’ve got a sweet tooth and a love for Harry Potter, you’ll want to experience as many butterbeer treats as you can! Sip that Butterbeer Let’s start off with the gold standard.   When most people think

The Cowfish: Burgers, Sushi & Burgushi

The Cowfish at Universal's CityWalk is a unique restaurant serving a combination of burgers and sushi which gives everyone in the family something to be happy about.  It is centrally located in CityWalk above Vivo Italian Kitchen with indoor seating. a beautiful patio seating area overlooking CityWalk below and has a modern eclectic vibe once inside.  We chose to sit inside and started with some cocktails for the adults and appetizers for all to appease our hungry bellies.  The cocktails were top notch and the appetizers got us even more excited for the meal ahead as they were so delicious!  What was extra great about this place for us, is that it made sushi and seafood approachable for the kids so they were willing to try things they maybe wouldn't have otherwise so it was great to see them venture out of their comfort zone a bit!  Buffalos and Bacon: Buffalo Trace bourbon, cherry liqueur, angostura and orange bitters, honey, candied bacon Angel's Envy Manhattan Blackened

Mel's Drive-In at Universal Studios Florida

Take a step back in time to the 1950s with a quick service meal at Mel's Drive-In. Located in the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida, this  American Graffiti -inspired 50s drive-in features oldies on the jukebox and has a fleet of vintage cars parked out front. Inside you'll find vinyl booths with tabletop jukeboxes and there's also outdoor seating options. This retro restaurant serves up classic diner fare for lunch and dinner like burgers and fries, chicken fingers, onion rings and milkshakes. You'll also find one of the 20 Coca-Cola Freestyle locations at this restaurant. If you haven't already, you can purchase a Coca-Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup that gives you refills throughout the day or you can add an extra day of refills to your already purchased Freestyle Souvenir Cup. For guests 21 and up, Mel's also serves bottled beer.  Vinyl booth with plexiglas dividers Tabletop jukebox Outdoor seating Coca-Cola Freestyle machines On our recent visit, I

Jake's American Bar at Loews Royal Pacific Resort

If you're looking for a casual dining experience after a long day touring the parks, Jake's American Bar is a great choice! Located at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Jake's American Bar is available for lunch or dinner and serves a variety of bar favorites.  This full-service bar pays homage to the fabled South Seas explorer, Jake McNally, whose seaplane you can see floating in the resort's lagoon. They serve appetizers, entrees and island cocktails like Jake's Margarita or the Island Man Tai. If you prefer beer, they also have Craft Beers, Local Brews and Draft Beers available.  On our recent visit, we opted to order a few items to share. We ordered the Homemade Pretzel Rods, Jake's Hot Wings and a Cheese Pizza. Jake's Hot Wings were our absolute favorite! They're served with carrots, celery and blue cheese, and the sauce on the wings was great. Just the right amount of spice for us. We're big fans of wings so we're a little picky but these did

The Three Broomsticks

The Three Broomsticks is an iconic location for any Harry Potter fan, but is also a delicious lunch spot for anyone visiting Universal Orlando Resort!  The food is familiar yet unique, and served hot and fresh to your table. This location is located in the Hogsmeade location of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal's Islands of Adventure. What sets this apart from other quick service locations for me is that you order your food and then taken to a table and the food is brought to you, which is becoming more and more popular these days, but definitely wasn't the norm when the Three Broomsticks first opened.  We placed our order and then were led to a table in the dining area which looks like a scene right out of a Harry Potter movie of course.  For lunch today we ordered a Spareribs Platter, normally served with corn on the cob and roasted potatoes but we subbed veggies for the potatoes, and Fish and Chips along with some Pumpkin Juice as a beverage.  First let's

Fast Food Boulevard at Universal Studios Florida

Fast Food Boulevard is located in the Springfield section of Universal Studios Florida at Universal Orlando Resort and is a must-do for any Simpsons fan!  This home to several quick-service dining locations has something for everyone. It is a great stop that will make everyone's belly happy even if you aren't a die-hard fan. The food choices range from the famous Krusty Buger to pizza, from fried fish to salad, and even specialty non-alcoholic beverages and plenty in between. If the variety of food options wasn't enough to entice you, the theming is on point and you feel like you've walked into an episode of the Simpsons.  I especially love to sit in Moe's Tavern because it just gives me those Homer Simpson vibes and is a little smaller and out of the hustle and bustle of the main area. One of my favorite details is the mural of all the Simpsons characters on the wall, it's just amazing! And a great backdrop for a beverage or two.   At Luigi's you will find
