Photo from Disney Parks Blog Disney has confirmed that the Monsters Inc. character meet and greet at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be updated for the summer to incorporate the new Monsters University movie. The location will be re-themed as the Monsters University Student Union, including a view of the campus. Guests will continue to be able to meet both Mike and Sulley. The current location will close for the refurbishment from 5/14/2013 to 5/24/2013. The Disney Parks blog is giving us a look inside the Princess Fairytale Hall construction site at the Magic Kingdom. As you can tell from the video, the new meet and greet location will be a fully immersive environment. Walt Disney World has released dates and pricing for some of their most popular events in the fall and winter.  Below you will find information on Night of Joy, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Night of Joy Night of Joy is set to be held on September 6 and 7, 2013 from 7:30 pm to 1:00 am. Pricing is as follows: Advance Purchase for 1 Night $55 plus tax (ages 3 to 9 and 10+) Same Day Purchase for 1 Night $65 plus tax (ages 3 to 9 and 10+) Advance Purchase for Both Nights $99 plus tax (ages 3 to 9 and 10+) Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Party Dates: September 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 & 29 October 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29 & 31 November 1 Party hours are from 7:00 pm until midnight.   Pricing: September 10, 13, 17, 20, 24 & 27 Advance Purchase: $59 plus tax (ages 10+), $54 plus tax (ages 3 - 9) Same Day Purchase: $65 plus tax (ages 10+), $60 plus tax

Epcot's Fountain View Ice Cream closed on 4/6/2013 to begin the remodel into Walt Disney World’s second Starbucks location. Construction walls now surround the building, with the new Starbucks expected to reopen on 8/2/2013. The new kiosk that was built near to the Electric Umbrella has not yet opened. It was originally thought this would open with the closure of Fountain View, although it may operate seasonally during busier times. Another element of the NextGen MyMagic+ initiative is now live and in use across all of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  Called 'Mobile Lobby Experience,' the system equips Cast Members with iPads and allows guests to be checked-in from locations other than the front desk. It is being used to quickly check-in guests from curbside or in the lobby area of the hotel. 'Mobile Lobby Experience' has the big advantage of being able to check-in guests very quickly on arrival at the hotel, without the need to join a queue or ev
