The Nanea Volcano feature pool at Disney's Polynesian Resort is set for an extended refurbishment later this year. The pool is expected to be closing in August 2014, reopening sometime in 2015. The work is related to the addition of the new Disney Vacation Club Villas at the Polynesian Resort. The full menus are now available for the Outdoor Kitchens at the 2014 Epcot Flower and Garden Festiva l, which this year runs from 3/5/2014 to 5/18/2014. PhotoPass Photographer on Main Street USA One of my favorite tips that I love to pass on to Walt Disney World guests is to take advantage of Disney’s Memory Maker. This is a program that has gone through great changes in recent years- including a name change from Photopass in late 2013-  and is a convenient way to help guests record their vacation memories.  If you have visited before, you have probably noticed photographers throughout the parks and water parks.  They take free, no obligation pictures that may be viewed and purchased either in parks or online.  While the price for individual prints may seem high, I have some tips to help you get the greatest value from this service. The massively popular 'PUSH - The Talking Trash Can' character is no longer appearing at the Magic Kingdom. PUSH, who would follow and chat with guests in the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland, made his final performance on 2/8/2014. Disney has released very little information on the new development, other than an expected opening in 2015. Following a similar pattern to the other Disney Vacation Club additions, the Polynesian Resort will receive upgrades to existing restaurants, pool areas and lobby to accommodate the additional volume of guests.
