Experience the World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios

After living in Florida for three years, we finally had the chance to visit Universal Studios this past February.    While we were excited about all the rides and events, the main thing we wanted to see was The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.   Everyone except the little one has read the books and watched the movies multiple times, and we were all eager to experience the magic for ourselves.   We were absolutely blown away! The village was perfect.   From the minute we arrived, we felt like we were transported from a Florida theme park to a little old English village.   The sights and sounds were amazing! The Hogwarts Express train was beautiful!   Universal is actually working on expanding the Wizarding World, and putting in a working Hogwarts express that travels back and forth between Universal’s two parks.   In order to ride it, guests will have to have a park to park ticket, but it promises to be an incredible journey.   There will be moving pictures in the win

Disney is in the process of a leadership organizational reshuffle, which will bring a new Vice President to Epcot. Current Epcot VP Erin Youngs will take up a new role of vice president, Construction, Horticulture, Textile Services and Distribution Services. Erin replaces the retiring Greg Ruse. Taking up the role of vice president Epcot will be Sam Lau. Currently the VP of Walt Disney World Transportation, Sam will report to Jim MacPhee. Finally, replacing Sam Lau in transportation will be Jason Kirk, who takes up the role of vice president, Transportation Operations. He has previously been part of the team that relaunched Disney California Adventure, and most recently a director, Planning & Industrial Engineering. Jason will report to Tom Wolber. Walt Disney Imagineering is moving the very well regarded Scott Trowbridge to a new dedicated project studio solely dedicated to the Star Wars franchise. Disney's Hollywood Studios will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on May 1 2014 with a special rededication ceremony, a "Star of the Studios" motorcade, and a firework spectacular finale. Here is the full line-up: - At 10 a.m., Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will take the stage with Disney’s Hollywood Studios Vice President Dan Cockerell to start the celebration day, honoring some of the 25-year cast members during a short rededication ceremony.    -A special motorcade — “Stars of the Studios” — will make its way down Hollywood Blvd. beginning at 7 p.m. and feature many of the famous characters showcased throughout the park. Mickey and Minnie will be joined by television and film stars including Captain Jack Sparrow, Darth Vader, Doc McStuffins, Wreck-It Ralph, Venellope, Sofia the First and more.   -Following the motorcade, the area in front of the park’s Sorcerer Hat Stage will become a dance party before a fire
