45 Ways We Know We Are Disney Fans

Good afternoon, Disney Fans!!! As you know, on October 1st, Walt Disney World marked a very special occasion: The 45th Anniversary of The Magic Kingdom, and Walt Disney World as a whole . Disney anniversaries are always times that I reflect upon why Disney is so special to me and what I love about it. So today, I present to you, a list of the many ways I know that I am a TRUE Disney addict. Are YOU one too? How many of these apply to you? 45 Ways We Know We Are Disney Fans... We buy Disney guidebooks .... in print.... even though we know all of the information inside front to back, just for the pictures, or to see how much we agree/disagree with the author. Our cars are filled with Disney CDs, and our mobile devices are filled with Disney music ... even if we don't have kids. We make Disney playlists, and listen to them so much that we know the order of the songs. Don't HAVE a Playlist yet? Feel free to check out my own personal ones on Spotify, by clicking these l

DCL Palo: Brunch or Dinner?

Ahoy, Disney Fans!!!      Today I am tackling a hard topic. It's a decision that every adult Guest has to face when they sail on a Disney Cruise: Do I go to Palo for brunch or for dinner????      Oooo, so hard to choose! Both are fantastic, but I have a clear favorite! First, let me explain to those readers who may not know, Palo is an exclusive, adults only restaurant on board the Disney ships. It has Venetian theming and décor, an incredible menu, impeccable service, and gorgeous, open vistas of the sea from it's panoramic windows. If Guests choose to dine in Palo, they can do so for a fee of $30 per person, ($89 per person if you want to include wine pairings with dinner). You can opt for dinner or brunch. Yes, Guests can do  both  sometimes, depending on availability, but more often than not, you will have to choose one. Reservations are required and can be booked 120 days before your sail date for Concierge and Platinum Guests, 105 days in advance for Gold Guests,

So if you are visiting in off-season, what should you plan on doing to occupy your evenings? Here are five of my favorite ways to spend an evening, outside of the parks! 1. Make Dining An Event      With so many awesome restaurants on Disney property, you could easily make an evening out of enjoying your dinner reservations. In fact, there are already some meals that include entertainment, like Disney's three dinner shows,  The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue  and  Mickey's Backyard Barbecue  at Fort Wilderness, and  The Spirit of Aloha,  (known to most Guests as "The Luau"), at the Polynesian Village Resort. These three shows each i
