Ears the News with Richard

Jumping on board with social media, photos taken during the street party and tagged with #MoveItShakeItPics on Twitter and Instagram may make an appearance in the finale of the show using screens on the side of each float. Adding a further level of interactivity will be the ability for guests to vote for music to be used during the show.
Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It!' follows a smilier format to the former 'Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! Street Party,' so expect to see lots of on street dancing, but with a new set of characters and music. Joining Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy will be Stitch and Phineas & Ferb.
Showtimes for the opening day are 11am, 12pm, and 5:40pm, starting near City Hall, and moving to the hub.

Sbandieratori Di Sansepolcro - Epcot's latest entertainment act has opened at the Italy Pavilion.
The act is set to perform daily, and features traditional flag waving accompanied by live music. Dating back over 500 years, the flag throwing ceremony is rich in Italy tradition.
You can catch the 12 minute show daily, with showtimes at 11:20 AM, 12:10 PM, 1: PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:20 PM and 5:00 PM.
And as always, WDWMagic has shot a great video of the performance.

Island Supply in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom will be closing next week to make way for a new retail store.

The closure is expected at the end of October 22 2014, with the new store opening later in the year. No word yet on what to expect, but the existing merchandise sold at Island Supply will be relocated to other stores in Adventureland.

Disney's Beach Club Resort is about to undergo a major refurbishment project that will refresh nearly every aspect of the resort.
The extensive refurbishment project will begin in the winter of 2014, and will continue throughout all areas of the resort for approximately 20 months. Along with refurbishing guests rooms, the public areas of the resort will also be remodeled.
The theme will remain the same, but will bring fresh decor to a hotel that has remained largely unchanged since it opened in late 1990.
It is expected that the resort will remain in operation during the work, with affected areas closed off, in a similar way to how the Polynesian Resort is currently operating during its remodel.

This fall Disney will be expanding the Glow with the Show concept to a new product line offering more light up items that interact with Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort shows.
Just like the original Glow with the Show ear hat, the new 'Made with Magic' items, which include a Mickey glove, Minnie headband, and Sorcerer Mickey wand, all interact with certain experiences at the parks. They can also be placed into a demo mode  when not at the parks to show-off the light changing LED functions. Participating experiences include Fantastic!, Wishes and the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights.
The Minnie Mouse headband will be available in late October, with the Mickey glove and Sorcerer Mickey wand available in late November 2014. All Made with Magic items retail for $25.

Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid is schedule to close for a month long refurbishment in early 2015.

The New Fantasyland dark ride will close on February 2 through to March 6, reopening to guests on March 7 2015. It is expected, although not confirmed, that the ride may receive a number of lighting upgrades that have already been installed at the ride's counterpart in Disney California Adventure.

Photo Tour and Deck Plan: Disney Fantasy

The Disney Fantasy took its maiden voyage in 2012 and until 2022, was the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It's the sister ship to the Disney Dream so you'll see many similarities between the two ships. The Disney Fantasy is an absolutely gorgeous ship, boasting an Art Nouveau style. The ship has 14 decks, 1,250 staterooms, is 1,115 feet in length and weighs 130,000 gross tons. We'll tour the ship starting from Deck 1 up to Deck 14, going from Aft to Forward. Let's start our photo tour! Deck 1 Deck 1 is where you'll find the Health Center. It's also where you can exit the ship to board a tender at Ports of Call that require ships to anchor offshore.  Deck 2 Deck 2 is where you'll find one of the three main dining rooms, Enchanted Garden.  The restaurant transforms throughout dinner, changing from day to night I love these booths! You can also find staterooms, a Midship Detective Agency kiosk and the Vista Gallery showcasing Disney artwork.  Deck

Universal's Volcano Bay Private Cabana Review

On a recent training in Universal Orlando Resort, agents Maci, Ashley, Aubrey and Yaritza and I rented a private cabana for the day at Universal's Volcano Bay. There are multiple locations around the park along with the option to have an upper or lower level, all of which reflect in various pricing. Agent Ashley received an email the day before informing her of where to check-in the next morning. While we were personally escorted to the cabana shortly after check in, the line at the check in location is the same as those getting towels, meaning it was not short. As expressed by an additional guest checking into a different cabana, we would have greatly appreciated a separate line, since this caused our group about a half hour wait. We're all adults and made great use of our time getting some fun pictures before the park was filled with guests, but this is important to be aware of if you are traveling with children.  We had an upper level Cabana which came with a splendid view!

The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel Review

I love staying at the Disneyland Hotel so when I got the opportunity to stay at the new Villas at the Disneyland Hotel during opening weekend, I couldn’t pass it up. Because it was opening weekend, we were greeted in the entrance way of the lobby with balloons and many photo opportunities. When we arrived, there was a mural of the Haunted Mansion. I love how the seats in the main lobby were designed like the teacups in the parks. You can check in using the Disneyland app, drop your bags with bell services and head into the parks or use the amenities why you wait until your room is ready. When your room is ready, the resort will send you a text and you can use the Disneyland app on your mobile device to unlock the room. We dropped off our bags and went straight to the parks. We received a text around 1PM that our room was ready. In the new Discovery Tower (the Villas), you'll find that the lobby is very spacious with many places to sit while you read or wait for your family. Th
