Renting a Locker at Walt Disney World


Each Walt Disney World theme park and water park has convenient keyless lockers that can be used throughout the day, for a one-time charge—so you can store your personal items with ease.

One thing I had never done until my most recent trip to Walt Disney World was rent a locker!

It’s easy to rent a locker while at the parks! I wish I had known this earlier, so I wouldn't have carried around extra outfits, umbrellas and merch all those times. Now I know how and where to find them, and will definitely be getting one every time.

Magic Kingdom's lockers are located to the right of the train overpass tunnel. Right after you enter, go to your far right. If you have entered the tunnel, you have gone too far.

If paying with cash or a major credit card, you may proceed directly to the self-service kiosk to rent a locker. If paying with a MagicBand, MagicBand+ or gift card, visit the merchandise location nearest to the lockers for assistance. There, a Cast Member can process your rental and give you a code to access to a locker.
 

Use the touch-screen to begin your rental. First, select your locker size. You will then pay, with either U.S. cash (bills only), MagicBand, or a credit/debit card.

After you’ve paid, you'll create a 4-digit passcode, which will be the combination for your locker. The kiosk screen will then tell you which locker is yours.

Pro Tip 1: Make sure you choose a locker combination you’ll remember.

Pro Tip 2: Be ready to write down your assigned locker number, or take a photo with your cell camera. At the end of long day, it’s extremely easy to forget which locker is yours.
 
Just walk over to the locker you’ve been assigned, use the keypad to input the code you selected, and the locker will open.

If you switch theme parks (aka Park Hop) and want to get a new locker at the new park, you’ll have to pay again. The lockers are cleaned out every night. Depending on the locker contents, items left at the end of the day will either be trashed or sent to lost and found. All lockers are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

The following locker options are offered at the Walt Disney World theme parks:

  • Standard
    • 12" x 10" x 17"
    • $10 per day

  • Large
    • 15.5" x 13" x 17"
    • $12 per day

  • Jumbo - Available only at Magic Kingdom and Epcot
    • 17" x 22" x 26"
    • $15 per day

Universal's Volcano Bay Private Cabana Review

On a recent training in Universal Orlando Resort, the agents rented a private cabana for the day at Universal's Volcano Bay. There are multiple locations around the park along with the option to have an upper or lower level, all of which reflect in various pricing. We received an email the day before informing her of where to check-in the next morning. While we were personally escorted to the cabana shortly after check in, the line at the check in location is the same as those getting towels, meaning it was not short.
