Image courtesy Disney Parks blog Disney has announced the opening date for the BoardWalk Inn's new Italian restaurant, Trattoria al Forno, and provided a look at the full opening menu. Trattoria al Forno will open on December 18, 2014, showcasing Italian cuisine for both breakfast and dinner.  Breakfast service will be from 7:30 am to 11:00 am, and dinner from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.  Reservations for the new eatery open on October 21st, and the restaurant will be participating in the Disney Dining Plan. 1900 Park Fare is a buffet style restaurant located in Walt Disney World's majestic Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  This resort is just a short monorail or boat ride from the Magic Kingdom which is located on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon.  As soon as you enter the Grand Floridian you are immediately swept away with the elegance of this beautiful resort.  Located on the first floor is 1900 Park Fare Restaurant with its charming display of carousel sculptures, crystal chandeliers and golden accents that adorn the two rooms used for dining.  Notice Big Bertha, a Late 1800’s Band Organ from France that sits 15 feet above the dining area.  Every so often throughout the meal she may play a little medley. Epcot’s new live entertainment act, the Canadian Lumberjack Show made its debut performance earlier this week at the Canada pavilion. The show at the Mill Stage features two teams of lumberjacks competing against each other in a variety of lumberjack skills. Axe throwing, chainsaw work, and log sawing are all part of the act. The Canadian Lumberjack Show marks a significant departure from the previous Off Kilter Show, trading a musical act for a thrill-action show. The 15 minute show is currently in soft opening, and has not yet appeared on the Epcot times guide or in park signage.
