A True-Life Disney Holiday Magical Moment

Happy Holidays, Disney Fans!!!      Well, the big day is fast approaching and my kids are buzzing with excitement. We went into the parks this past weekend, to squeeze in some holiday fun, (and to get in the last visit of 2017, since our passes are now blocked out). We will still be on property plenty over holiday vacation, visiting Disney Springs, the resorts, etc, so I'll get my Disney fix, but no park access makes me sad! The good news is, when my passes start working again, Festival of the Arts will be getting geared up over at Epcot, so I'll have that to look forward to!      Today I want to share with you a magical, wonderful, true-life Disney story, perfect for the holiday season. This is not my typical post, but this season calls for something unusual and special. It's easy to get cynical this time of year, with all of the commercialism and whatnot, so it's important to take those moments to appreciate true holiday magic when we can find it. I hesita

Photo Safari: Holidays at the Monorail Resorts

Happy Holidays, Disney Fans!      As I write this, I am sitting at my desk, here in Orlando, (where it was 83 degrees yesterday), wearing a hoodie AND wrapped in a blanket, because it's in the 40's today! Weather here can be super unpredictable this time of year. What is NOT unpredictable this time of year is the beauty of the holiday decorations at the resorts! Every year, each Disney resort gets dressed up in its holiday finest to greet Guests who are staying onsite, or just passing through. One of my very favorite things to do as a local is to visit the different resorts and check out their Christmas trees, tinsel, gingerbread displays, Christmas lights and more.      Yesterday my family and I visited the resorts on the monorail line, (The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, The Polynesian Village Resort, and The Contemporary Resort), checking out the holiday offerings, and we thought you'd enjoy a little tour of what we saw. So, here we go!      We started at

Making the MOST of the Crowds at Their WORST

Happy Holidays, Disney Fans!!!!      So by this point in December, I am sure you are so full of holiday cheer, you could BUST! And maybe, if you've been  really  good this year, Santa will be bringing you a little MagicBand, putting you at the top of all of the best FastPass+ lists, and getting you hooked up with ALL of the best Disney dining reservations. (And if not, no worries... the crew here at Kingdom Konsultant Travel have got you covered!)       Here, in Orlando, my fam is psyched to get to enjoy all of the holiday fun that the parks have to offer... BUT... we know what comes with it. The price that we pay for getting to celebrate at Disney.... CROWDS. We are about to roll into some of the busiest weeks of the calendar year for the Disney parks and I thought it may be helpful to cover what some of my favorite things to do are when the crowds are big. So whether you are an Annual Passholder, looking for a break from the out-of-state and out-of-country crowds, or a f
